A gen1/gen2 ford ranger bumper would fit with fabbed up mounts.

Put in a metal plate with a jeeo or amc logo. Or make another compartment out of fiberglass.

I believe cab wiring isn't there. The whole dash was removed before I got it.

Previous owner cut it to take the engine out, so most of it is there.

I have a few odds and ends from a stripped 92 4.0 auto. That front axle with rotted perches 3.55's, washer bottle, coolant bottle, cut up 4.0 harness, 4.0 engine mounts, front springs, rotted fenders, auto column, ebrake minus the release mech, brake booster, steering box, hood hinges and wiper motor.

What kinds of issues would you run into putting a 92 mj front axle in a 99 xj?

Oh I have a roll bar if you're interested. It's not a factory one but it should fit. $125

That does look really nice. It's almost a shame you're going to have to paint that.

I did the same thing with my ranger and the filler neck got me twice. The bars are tapered in but definitely check the measurements or mock it up if you can. And there's nothing wrong with a little show. :thumbsup:

I wouldn't rule out the 97+. You might find a deal on one. If somebody on here wants to do a swap/buy you could trade for fenders, etc.

Rolls bars from the 80's are pretty much universal. I've gotten 2 off craigslist and will install which ever one fits better. You could probably even find a bull bar from an XJ too. I love craigslist. There's so much random crap on there. I traded an old computer for a set of cepek off road lights. :thumbsup:

Ranger rims should work as the fenders and much of those trucks haven't changed much since 93. They do have 16's and all you have to do is swap out the little center caps. And I can't dread Ford. lol They provide plenty of parts for the jeeps and the ranger has been phased out like mj.
