If you see a thread that you think you will need in the future or that just has alot of good info in, you can just type the name of the thread starter and brief description into a word document and save it into a seperate folder on your c drive. Then you can search by author. This works especially good if the search function has the ability to search for "thread starter" with the authors name.

From what ive read it seems that 4WD eliminators are rare. How rare would you say they are? and what years did they offer them in 4wd? A friend of mine cane across an eliminator parked in the woods on someones property and thinks it was 4wd. Know one was home, so I'm planning to take a ride and see if they want to sell.

The wife drives it with the kids. So thats not an option. Thats what i do with my truck. :wrench:

This is for an 8.25. Do I need to add anything to the oil, like for a limited slip on an MJ? If so, what is it called and how much?

I have to pull mine soon too, to fix a hole in the floor. I need to replace the wipes and those rubber things that run down the A pillar before my door jambs start rotting out.

When I'm driving on the highway and excellerating there is a loud wining noise. When I let off the gas the noise stops. I just bought this xj a few weeks ago and noticed that the rear diff seems to have a leak from the gasket. Could this noise be from the fluid being low or is more likely something else? Maybe the tranny not shifting into 4th gear?

On each side of the pin there is a rectangle/square whole. it looks like there is a spring in it like the ones in a mouse trap. the one little straight piece on each side that comes off the coiled part comes up to the edge of the hole.

I am trying to put some new wiper blades on and can't figure out how to get the originals off. I don't want to remove the whole arm, just the wiper blade. It looks like it has some type of star washer where it mounts to the "pin" thing on the arm, but I can't find any type of clip.

I am going to check right now.

Thats funny because you posted while I was typing and I think we are the only 2 who don't mind the posts.

How about a 280Z. Maybe not that great on the gas, but its a nissan and I like them. The fact that I like them is a big plus.

I personally don't care if I see the same question over and over. Eventually the board would have 99% of the info somewhere and there wouldnt be any need for anybody to post anything. They could just search and read, it would become more like a dictionary than a community. Besides the more I read/type something the better chance of me remembering it.

x5 for the trac bar. Pull the cotter pin and tighten down the nut. I will be doing it again tomorrow on mine. Trying to hold off buying one until I do my lift. The difference in steering was amazing when I tightened it up last time, felt like a new truck.

Its becaause of those tin covers and some misc nuts that I need a set. I carry like 5 different lug wrenches in the MJ now.

Anyone know a place to get a decent set of lugs for the MJ that don't cost a fortune?
