If your truck is a standard you can swap a barke pedal with the newer style switch from a late model XJ, thats what I did when I put the 95-96 double booster in. If you have an automatic its harder because the shift cable goes thru the bracket the pedal attaches too.

Thanks for trying. This one doesnt have that scissor contraption. It has to guide rails that go from top to bottom and there is a guide wire (like a hand brake cable) that runs in them. The clips clip to the wire and set into the guide rails. Then there is a metal L shape thing that connects to the window and goes into the clip. That priobally makes no sense w/out a pic.

No Jim, thats not them. They are little white clips that ride in the metal part and the wire clips into them. Those are the earlier style I think. Thanks anyway.

Last time I put a Fram on the MJ after i got it, everytime I would come to a stop my oil light would come on. Pulled it off after asking here and put on a NAPA Gold (made by WIX) and the problem was solved.

Whenever its really hot out, and I turn the key on the MJ, my fingers start to get burned before it turns over. In the summer I have to put something over the tabs around the key before I turn it. Does this happen to anyone else?

Have you checked the wheel cylinders?
