beautiful truck. while i like the silver, i personally loved that classic two-tone silver/gray factory paint....

i had one back in the day. loved it. it was pretty indestructible engine wise, i ran the holy hell out of it. i jumped it so much and so hard that i probably went through 6-8 mufflers with that design that goes under the footpeg. it would crack the weld where it bolted to the frame so it would just be hanging from where it mounted to the engine. eventually it would crack and i'd have a flame throwing very loud suicide pipe LOL. i also broke 2 frames jumping it. that being said, it's a pretty fast little bike, a fun play bike if you take care of it.

DAMN! 87 MJ near Winchester VA
WahooSteeler replied to WahooSteeler's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
Sold it last Thursday. Guy said it was cherry. Old man owned, 170k on the engine but had all the receipts from rebuild @30k ago. No rust (he says), had been painted one time, maroon bench interior (he said the seat may have been recovered because it look like it had never been sat on), column shift. One of his own employees bought it. Wouldn't say what he sold it to his employee for, but said he had it listed at $6900. Since the person who bought it works at the dealer, somebody near Winchester needs to go by and look at it. -

I may have to take a ride and look at this over the weekend. 1 picture, but it sure looks nice. It's a Laredo. You can see the tag on the fender. Also notice the factory bed rails. Looks like probably a bench seat in there. With the tow mirrors, I'll assume has factory tow pkg. And, another reminder of how the turbine wheels probably are the nicest OEMs ever IMO. I'm calling tomorrow for price and mileage. http://www.dealerslot.com/lotdetails.as ... 1&offset=0 *edit: may be a pioneer, can't see the badge clearly enough. I'm betting Laredo though. :brows: Let's take guesses on the price. I'll start with $6995 -
yeah, he's a member. he posted a video of one of his races where he hits the Dixie Horns (Dukes of Hazzard/General Lee) while power sliding through a turn. Awesome.

dude, you can't post that without some type of explanation or a link or something?? supercharged 4.0? Sorry, I didnt even think about a link. So here's a turbo 4.0 to go with it.... second link, lots of pics! http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1020769 http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1031285 That pic above is a supercharger from a Thunderbird.

thanks boiler. yeah, i was planning on most likely just having to get a new one but thought i'd see if there were any cost effective repairs available. yep, HP has had MAJOR issues with this series and have alienated a lot of "former" loyal HP customers with their handling of the problem, i.e. tuff luck. They are still offering discounted repairs at $259 + tax, but like you said, that's 30-50% the cost of a new one with pretty decent specs. i posted on newegg's eggsxpert.com too and emailed a computer engineer buddy of mine, all the same response. again, i was expecting to have to replace vs. repair and with 3.5 yrs of running 12hrs a day, not so sure I can complain. Sad thing is i just recently bumped my RAM from 1 to 2GB. Meh, maybe I can "part it out" on ebay, everything else is in great shape on it. :dunno: oh yeah, for WiFi I just grabbed an extra usb wireless adapter off a desktop not being utilized in the office, so i'm at least operating for now. need to get everything backed up asap though.....

My WiFi disappeared on me the other day and after a few hours trying to figure out why I found all the posts on the internet about my HP dv6000 being a POS with mobo crapouts. I've gotten about 40 months of heavy usage out of mine, so it seems like I'm way better than most but I've read once the WiFi goes my days are numbered before mobo fries. Soooo, what is the best valued mobo replacement, and is this something i can do myself? The actual model is dv6119US, AMD Turion 64x2 TL-50, nVidia 6150. Thanks for any help. :hateputers:

automan, love the Trophy Truck look.

Actually that same info was posted by SuperWade2 about a year ago when this topic came up again. Now I buy nothing but Liquid Wrench.

seriously? :dunno: The creme seats & wood dash look nice, but the rug looks like the bathroom floor at the local dog track. :ack: yeah i was focusing on the seats, dash and doors, mainly because you just don't see many of the tan interiors. carpet is beat for sure. didn't the ad say it had a rebuilt/replacement motor in it?

SuperDub, IIRC on many of the stroker threads I've read, you'd be much better off going with the HO. It's not that you CAN'T do it with a Renix, but it doesn't leave you with many options for other mods or additional tuning, again, IIRC. Hornbrod obviously is a good source of info, and maybe go check out that stroker forum he is a member on too. I was planning to stroke my 88 one day too, but after reading all the Renix stroker posts I realized if I ever did it I needed to go with the HO. More work but worth it I think.

that's awesome!

Cool winch bumper whose is it? And does that license plate really say XXX XXX??? or is that just good photoshop? The license plate is legit. He's a porn star. :rotfl2:

i thought it was. the design of it with the slits in it made LNFollow think it may be stacked, which is a generally agreed upon as a no-no from a safety standpoint.

what does that even mean? is that coil spacer on your front springs all 1 piece or 4 pieces stacked together is what he's asking.

how bout a good side shot from a little more distance? looks good.......I like the color combo :brows:

First pic, that's me on the left, back in November. 42" rockfish, @36lbs IIRC. Crazy good eatin'! The boat is my best friend's since high school, he bought it about 2yrs ago, 46ft deadrise, neat old boat. 3208 Cat diesel, she'll troll 12-16 lines. Second pic, the guy with the beard is my other best friend since we were toddlers. That's his dad, bro, and son. His son we put on the first line, biggest fish of the day @7am, 44"/40lbs. This was on the Chesapeake Bay by way of the St. Mary's river in southern Maryland (Leonardtown). Needless to say it was a successful day on the water. :chillin:
