  4. Paul, do a search on here for Spidertrax, and commonly debated topic. As already noted, I would recommend them over something only sold on eBay. They are $100 a pair for new from Quadratec.com and several other retailers, but with a little patience you can score a set on Clist or jeepforum or even eBay for @$50-75. I paid $70 for mine shipped from a guy on jeepforum.com Mine are the 1.25" and they are plenty. 1.5" would probably be perfect, but point is, you don't want or need a full 2", that will stick too far I can tell you. I also have Ravines so I'm giving you a true apples to apples opinion. SuperWade2 posted pics of his after he put on the spidertrax and you'll see that will be enough. He does not have Ravines, so I don't know what his offset is. Hornbrod has spacers and Ravines, but I don't know if his are spidertrax.
  5. What the hell are you doing on "a mexican classified site"?! looking for a chickita!

    CL wow!

doesn't SEEM to be a bad price? :fool: A $1k for any good condition 4L 4x4 MJ is an excellent price, and more if it's an HO from 91-92. Like this one. goblazers said it, find a MJ box and you're good.
  9. Agreed. It's like Mr. Fusion on the back of the DeLorean when Doc Brown comes back from the future. The guy just stuffs any kind of plastic in there, hits the switch and voila! you've got useable oil from the tap. I don't think so.
  10. yeah it got picked apart in the other threads. claims to be original paint but lots of signs of repainting amongst other things.
  11. Hornbrod, I can't believe you missed this before. I posted it up a while back in the Pub and then somebody else did on here too. Amazing he hasn't sold it yet LOL.
  12. yeah i like that color combo. when i paint mine, someday, i plan to reverse that though. black on top and bottom and maroon in the middle.

  20. Eagle, I'm definitely no expert but while setting up your own site can be super cheap (lots of template based sites out there) it's getting the traffic to come to your site that can get expensive. If you expect it to be a small business as you seem to describe, eBay may be hard to beat as far as all the e-commerce tools readily available. I'm sure someone on here has set up an eBay store. You can still have your own website for professional appearance and when someone clicks on products or purchases it takes you to their ebay store.
  21. yeah, you had no idea what needed to be done when you bought it, and therefore you have nothing to be ashamed of if they ask and you tell them how simple it was to get back on the road.
  22. skyline drive/blue ridge parkway?? uh, yeah, all they do is meet at the top of Afton Mtn 5 mins from my office down in Waynesboro! I'll try to think of something tomorrow. What about up at Wintergreen?
