  1. looks fantastic! Rob, check out the VIN to see if it's "the one!" 1J7FJ66S3NL215135 http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?c ... ha=success
  2. Thanks! A bit of a haul though..
  3. Thanks Pete. Wishful thinking; 92 XJ limited on Ebay with leather and in pretty good condition. I'd love to have the front seats, but have really been needing to find a good deal on a bench as my kids like to ride with me a lot when I'm in the truck, but can't take both! Just had the crazy idea if an XJ bench would work it would be easier than finding an MJ bench.
  4. I think the answer is "no", but gotta ask. Is the rear seat in an XJ the same as the bench seat in an MJ, just on different brackets? :dunno:

  6. good call Rob, should have never doubted you LOL........
  7. I dunno, sounds like this guy has had it for awhile......
  8. I just wondered if anyone had contacted Chrysler to see if they would cough up or confirm the last VIN so us dorks could keep our hope up of finding the unicorn LOL........
  9. Ok, so it's an 86 with the 2.hate, but jeez is this thing cherry. Only 86k miles, and I think unbeknownst to the owner is a Metric Ton with a most definitely rare AMC20 rear diff. Even with that motor it's worth every penny of what they're asking IMO. http://picasaweb.google.com/11006128315 ... 7840337602 http://tampa.craigslist.org/hil/cto/2377712468.html

  13. 4BT dualie 4wd MJ
  14. I believe you are half right on this in that Honcho's were just an appearance package on J trucks. But I am pretty certain all CJ8's were Scramblers and vice versa. CJ8 was simply the model designation, like a Comanche is an MJ, but they were all Scramblers. I believe the only "package" on a CJ8 Scrambler was whether or not you had the very rare Laredo package. But even the most stripped down bone stock CJ8 was a Scrambler and hence, had a Scrambler emblem on it.
  15. Don't worry 'MATE it's not Omix. ;) So an Old Man is going to ride in on his Emu and buy them, huh?

  19. I've seen a either a black or dark blue (almost sure it was black) one on here. owner put liberty wheels on it, looked really good. But Maroon Laredo MJs are the best if you ask me! :brows:
  20. Damn, I don't get you guys. What I see is a BAD @$$ MJ set up pre-runner style. Sure, it's not for everybody, but it's killer IMO.
  21. the CEO was adamant about Jeep needing to be representative of Jeep, and that any vehicle they sell should have a "Trail Ready" model. He went to say that he feels Jeep should own the SUV market, and that basically that's all they should sell, i.e. that crossover's etc. should/can be under the Dodge brand etc., but that Jeep should have the SUV's.
  22. Chrysler CEO quoted at recent auto show that they plan on bringing back the Grand Wagoneer name for a big SUV w/3 rows of seats. He also "confirmed" as I read in the Wall St. Journal and on several articles googled, that Jeep will have a pickup but went so far as to say it would be an SUV based vehicle with a "pickup bed". Stay tuned........
  23. friggin unreal!!
