23gal Fuel Sending Unit
WahooSteeler replied to WahooSteeler's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
And speaking of HO senders Don, while searching for info on the 23gal sender units, I ran across this piece on Four Wheeler Network where they used an HO fuel sending unit in a Renix MJ and said they had no issues with it. Thoughts? http://www.fourwheeler.com/project-vehicles/154-0807-1989-jeep-comanche-six-speed-transmission-swap/photo-09.html -

23gal Fuel Sending Unit

Did your truck have the 23gal fuel tank? Long beds came with either 18 or 23gal and the FSU was different for each size. My truck has the 23gal tank so need that FSU model... -
If I am correct this is a fuel sending unit for a 23gal tank. Can anybody confirm this by sight? It is confirmed it came out of an 88 long bed.

Do that on your next set of floor mats! -
I've used car-part.com with some success over the years, but for sure ask a lot of questions to confirm it's the right part and get pics if you can as others have commented. Very few yards seem to list detailed info and even less update their listings when it's sold. I learned not to get my hopes up if I see the part I'm looking for until I have a conversation with the yard. Also, if it's an interior part, keep in mind a high percentage of these trucks have been sitting in that yard for a long time exposed to the elements with busted windows, doors missing, etc. so that kind of stuff is rarely in very good condition. Good luck!

Goose, if there is any way you could confirm I'd be very interested. Is there a part # on it anywhere or can you post a pic? I think the float arm is noticeably longer on the 23gal version. -

Can't say I'm a fan of Saban, but also can't deny he's one of the best coaches of all time. Like Belichick, can't stand him, but can't deny his success..........even if he's cheated a few times LOL.

Forgot to mention, one of my best friends from high school went to 'Bama for a couple of years before, ummmm, "having to" transfer to a school back in VA. Went to the Bama-Auburn game in '86 in Birmingham, been a Tide follower ever since.
-
One of the greatest I've seen! I thought on the OT sack Bama was done, then....................BAMa! Wow! Do you think Hurts will transfer? Showed a lot of class on the sideline and post game interview, but no way Tua is not the starter for the next 3 yrs! That game winning pass was a beauty.......unbelievable poise.

Unbelievable game! The question is, will it be Hurts or the Frosh when they get the ball?

Dorman 85869 is a direct fit (tabs fit perfect) 2-wire reverse socket for push and turn bulbs..........<$4 at O'Reilly's. And the Genssi 1156 LED replacement bulbs as recommended by Hornbrod are fantastic, REALLY put out a lot of light! -

Fiat, looks very familiar. Very pleased with mine, and yes, while I liked the houndstooth cloth I like the simple check pattern of the new cloth. Still classic but more current. -
No High Speed on Wipers
WahooSteeler replied to WahooSteeler's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
When I put mine back in I was thinking, I need to put some locktite on these bolts but because I was just trying to get them working to pass state inspection, and worried if they did not work right away, I skipped that step. Fortunately I need to replace the little T connector on the washer tubes so I'll do it then. Thanks for the input! -

I'm in real estate and manage a lot of rental property. Guy who cleans the carpet when a unit turns over has a sweet setup. 28hp Kohler engine, hot water supply, pre-treatment spray bottle, and service in a shirt and tie! Hooked me up on the Christmas "no charge" deal, even did the carpet on the lower part of the door panels. -

Passenger seat was actually in really good condition since it was/is rarely used. I had pulled the seat bottom off years ago and got it pretty clean, but this shows a good closeup of before and after.
