  1. Slug, I was gonna ask if each of yours was plated and numbered accordingly. If I did that and put a "1" on mine now, I'm worried I'd have a tremendous sense of urgency to at least get #2 bought and plated. Then, as it appears you know better than anyone else, it never stops! I should have plated the 87 before I flipped it to briarpigon on here.
  2. :rotfl2: To quote the great Sheriff Buford T. Justice: "That's what happens when you start pu-tangin' around with those show-folk fags!!"
  3. :bs: Uh huh, then show us some other pics of her LOL. And they can't be in the mall!
  4. Mmmm, you speak from experience young Skywalker you do, mmm, yes my young Jedi.
  5. Yeah, don't touch because then you'd realize she's a mannequin!
  6. You boys doin' ok at there tonight? Uh huh. ok. Umm, are you sure you're alright? :beerhead:

  8. MrSimon, how did you lift the rear of your truck?
  9. What about wheels then?
  10. Now, for my dream job, I guess I'd have to say something involved in a racing organization, preferably Motocross and Supercross, along the lines of operations manager or similar. I'd love to be traveling and at the races every weekend, and while I know I wouldn't be able to actually see much of the race action, I just love being in that environment and around those groups of people. I'd like to be the "go-to guy" that coordinates all of the who, what, where, and when and then see it all come together on race day so that everybody is enjoying themselves and the team can be focused on whatever it is they need to be. I do fairly well in situations of "organzied chaos".
  11. Wicked cool! Well, I for one can never say "thank you" enough to guys like you, Bookspan, JT, and all the others on here who have or are currently serving. What I really like is that I haven't seen one person on here yet that said they enlisted just because they had nothing else to do. Sometimes at 18-25 yrs old that is certainly understandable that you don't know what you want to do and the Services offer a wide range of training to choose from, but it seems all of the people on here who have served, did so with enthusiasm. Much respect to that gentlemen.
  12. :jump: Dude, is this true?? I was gonna put on my 5 that I once was a professional hand model, but then explain that was just part of my pick up routine in my younger days to break the ice with the ladies!! Got a lot of laughs out of that one, can't say it brought one home with me more than a couple of times though.
  13. If I'm gonna ride around with a spare tire on my hood, it'll be in a kick @$$ old Land Rover!
  14. Hey man, if you are missing you spare tire, I think I know where it is. Well, sounds like you have a fairly std 3" lift. Good chance the AAL started to sag and the PO put on the drop shackles to get some lift back. Snap some new pics of it on flat ground if you can.
  15. Excellent. :clapping:
  16. COMNCHE and CMANCHE are both available. I kinda like COMNCHE......
  17. I don't know about "always"...maybe "sometimes"... :hijack: :nanner: :D
  18. Fortunately it's very simple. Roll your window down, pull up on the old seal and it will slide/pop out. They are held in place by 3 metal retaining clips that are pinched to a seam on the window opening of the door. The new ones you can just slide back down in. That's the quick way. IMO take a couple of extra steps, and it really only adds about 5 mins to the job. Remove the door panel first. To do this remove your armrest and your window crank. Take the 3 screws out of your door handle assembly. Pop out all of the plastic push pins that hold the panel to the door. Pop them gently and straight out so they don't break off. You can use a straight screwdriver or even the claw of a hammer. Next, lift up on the panel first while simultaneously sliding it away from the hinges. After you first get it loose a little, push the door handle assembly through the opening in the panel. Now you should be able to lift up and/or slide off the door panel. Take off the inner window wipe so you can inspect your outer retaining clips, plus it gives you more room for your fingers. One of the main reasons I pull the panel etc. is because if you just try to push the new wipe down in to the clips, it is hard to maneuver it with the inner wipe on unless you don't mind jamming the crap out of your fingers. More importantly, if you try to force it in going the simple way above, you might bend out the retaining clip and then it is sloppy and won't have a tight fit, won't wipe as well etc. I pinched my retaining clips in a little so they had a tighter grip and then without the inner wipe in the way I just popped the new one in. So, a lengthy description of what is actually a very simple job, but the extra steps as I said before might add 5 mins to the job just to get your door panel off. You should be able to the whole thing in about 30mins.
  19. Ha Ha JT, I gotchya. When I finally replace my bent bumper I'll check in with you. I'm pretty sure I won't want to keep my existing factory one. Although I have towed with it, it's got enough heavy rust on it that I should replace it.
  20. Our little Broad St. war is heating up again, $1.75 this morning, and premium at $1.95!! Wow!
  21. Like I mentioned before, if you really want the wheels (and they are nice wheels), it comes down to whether or not you think you can trade or sell the tires, or even want to hassle with it. If it is the right deal, I personally don't mind a little hassle to get what I want out of it. A few other points to make. 1. If the offer accepted was for $200 give or take a little, IMHO that's not a bad price just for the wheels. Yes, there are ALWAYS deals out there for cheaper, but a nice set of alloys for roughly $40 each is hard to beat. 2. Part of the problem is, most any wheel/tire combo you find for sale will have 30" or larger tires on it because someone is selling off their stock wheels after they have lifted (for the second time in a lot of cases) and gotten a substantially larger wheel/tire package. 3. Because of your tire dilemma, I think you might be better off just pursuing a set of wheels and then get your tires locally in a 235/75/15 size, whether they be new or used, you decide. If you check Craigslist and jeepforum.com a few times every day, you'll run across some "wheels only" sales and can go that route. Good luck, keep us posted.
  22. And Hess only buys and sells American oil! Yup, dropped 7 cents from this morning, saw $1.79 an hour ago here.
  23. That's a great post. Stay young and love people and things that deserve to be loved.
