Why don't you guys try and lift the rear up by the 3 point hitch then stuff a long ramp of sorts under the rear tire. plus while you try to pull him out tell him to use the front end loader to push. And another thing would be to get some snatch blocks and tie off to that one tree and use a pulley system to multiply the force of your pulling. With enough runs on a pulley about 4 guys would be able to pull that tractor out. Or you could even tie the strap to the tractors wheel and use it as a winch... I was going to suggest the same thing, just couldnt remember the name,, but I think a dwarf is like a little person with proportional body parts like arms and legs, and a midget has a regular torso but with really short arms, legs.. I think...

jtdesigns replied to kar120c's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
yeah you can just rebuild the head , and you could rebuild just the bottom end if you had too.. -
Good to see a MJ used as a truck... I'd use mine as a "truck" but I've got so much $$ tied up in it; to see that makes me cringe, just a tid bit..

Transfer chain slapping??
jtdesigns replied to jtdesigns's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Hummm it has something on the sun visor that states part time this, part time that,, I believe it was part time for high and low,, almost certain it did. Command trac?? Maybe??? :dunno: -
I've always used polyurethane clearcoat, and the retarder (retardant ?) comes in an eye dropper; # of drops per humidity. But I always go a couple of drops more than recommended - 'Bama you know........ same thing isnt it? I mean urethane and polyurethane.. Its humid here in NC I'm sure its not as bad as it is there in the Crimson Tide area... I've never really had to deal with retarders. Just Urethane>hardener, I only use ppg ommi, and their 2k stuff, sometimes napa crossstar stuff.

Cool thanks... know of any good write-up? -
How hard is it to replace the transfer case chain on a np231? Would a 96 xj with auto be the 231?
-
Dude... I thought you were using auto paint!!! That sucks,,, Looks like crowsfeet from not using the same paint system. I had that happen to me one time in Ga after spraying a sealer over the original paint. But you said you used the same paint system. I thought you only used retarder in lacquer.. I've only sprayed urethane, and the only thing I've used with that is either a fast or slow hardener depending on temp and humidity....

Hey Tom, on my 89 2wd the pedal was hard too, until I stomped on the pedal real hard with truck off. What it did was reset the proportional valve. I guess you could try that, and check your check valve..

I know the dealers is a one piece deal, and you can buy the one piece aftermarket. Hummmm,, wonder what the difference is on the two hose lines?? Think its the fitting on the slave side??? It looks like a bigger fitting on the external one......... :dunno: The BH38938 for the AX-15 external slave; and the BH38935 for the BA-10 internal slave;
-
Hey Wildman, will that part number work for the external slave on an AX-15?
