You say you just pay the bill. But do you have insurance? And have you ever had like a $10,000 dollar hospital bill to pay? I don't know about you but I can't afford the health insurance through my job and I pray I don't have to go to the hospital for anything. It has kinda made me a bit of a home surgeon though. I think I would take socialized health care. Anyone from Canada have any imput? Yes I too would like to hear from you Canucks.

I was going to do a long report on Universal Heath Care last semester, and the more I researched it the more, and more I got confused.. The way the plans are written you have to have a law degree to understand fully. I still think it will hurt the elder who can't work, or pay out more then what they already do. As for the welfare folks, I think it would push them to get out and work instead sit on the couch eating sunflower seeds all day long. We all know those folks are going to b*@$£ and complain, but hell they already do and still receive State and Federal freebies...

Yeah I agree dynamat is the bomb, but at 270 buck for 36 ^ft vrs 27 bucks for 34^ft. I think this stuff is going to work out great!

I agree with not using any kind of tar. The asphalt stuff you referred to is called a water and ice barrier. It is very plyable and has a peal and stick backing. You could use it, but it would be a pain to get back off and if water did get under it, it would rot your floor boards away. Probably wouldn't be to bad on the inside door panels and above the headliner. I found some stuff today at Lowes that I'm going to try out. It's a window flashing with aluminum/foil backing, and asphalt layer.. I'm going to stick it on my roof, also got some insulation. The insulation looks like a space blanket bonded to bubble wrap. The plan is to peel and stick the flashing up there for sound damping, and then glue the space blanket insulation next. The reason I'm doing this is I took my headliner out and it was pretty much scorched by the heat of the sun, plus a black truck so.... For the floor I'm going to buy some high density latex paint made for sound proofing and paint everything else with that. I looked for some por-15 all day and didnt find any, so I just got some brush on rustoleum paint primer for rust and rustoleum rust guard enamel paint. That should do me I'm in NC and don't have the problems as ppl up north do with rust. I figure the truck sat with a window open for a lil while and thats why I had the rust in the floor that I did. I found the weather guard but it had grit on the exposed side (looked like grip tape) and decided not to use it. The flashing I got is only 4" wide and 33" long so I got 3 rolls to start with. The weather guard stuff was 3' x 33' plenty enough, but the grit I didnt like. I looked while at Lowes and found some rubber roof coating that I bet will work for the fender wells. It only covered 15^ft for gallon though. It dried hard and non tacky so it may be something to consider.. When I'm done with my truck I want it sound like a benz on the inside.. No engine noise, road noise, and when I shut the door it'll be dead...

Yeah 2wd.. Cool I knew someone knew what it was!! So it goes where?? Is it a power supply in line with dash lights?? So it provides power with lights on right?? Or am I missing something, other then a transfercase.??. it's got power to it right now, just needs the small extension/light harness that goes to the center console. Sweet. At least I know I have a power source if I ever needed to tap into!! Thanks bro -

That button is spose to be on the bottom of the switch, and theres a hole going straight up to it through the lower dash. (if you lay in the floorboard you'd be able to see it if you looked up where the switch is. The switch has a slot that fits only one way into the dash making the button face the floor.. Trick I've found it releasing the stem is to pull stem out with a little pressure , push the button, push back and forth gently and it will release and slide right out.. Then take a large flat head and remove the collar that holds the switch, with same flathead pry the connector off and don't forget the ground that grounds the shell of the switch(on the back of the switch) The dimmer looks like a spring behind a ceramic wheel, clean it up and make sure the stationary contact isn't broken.. Those switches must be pretty damn tough because my '78 CJ had a switch just like it.. -

Yelp it's called pay it forward.. There is a movie dedicated to the whole concept, and it shows what would happen if everyone did pay their debt to others if that concept is applied.

What he did was take one thats on the passengers side and put it on the drivers side... The same way it looks on the pass side is the way it is on the drivers side.. You do have a passenger side ( oh $h%t) handle about hair level don't you? Just get another one from a xj and make it fit on the drivers side.... :D EDIT: or you could do like we did on humvees and put just a looped strap that hangs down so your shorties can grab onto it and lift their ka-donadonks up in your rig !!
