well as you can figure out I'm wondering what it would take to run coils out back. i was thinking an identical setup out front or a 5 link
any ideas or problems that one could run into?
go get a junk xj and try it and then if it works nicely do it on your manche but if i were you i would make sure to reinforce the roof as its not made to hold the weight of the doors. not saying that it can't but over some time you could do some serious harm on one of the sweetest MJs in the planets history
umm yeah but i mean they will probabally not sell more than 50,000. maybe if one dealer did it, and stocked some but thats not realistic and it would cost so much money to have it shipped. especially for us east coast guys.
well if your running it as a dd then yeah i would just leave it the way it is. its not a dog so it can go. but if you ever do plan on wheeling it more than small mud and small rocks then yeah id leave it the way it is. now i know from expierence and fellow mechanics that the gears do fail prematurly compared to a chevy for or dodge so if the rear end howls then yeah id get the 4.10's but make sure you get matching gears up front or you will have some serious spinnage and possibly a junk transfer case
um the gears should fit in. 4.10's are great for wheeling but not so much for highway but you can still go on the highway. what size tire are you going to be running?
