    2.5+AX15

The only factory option is a late 90s Dakota with a 4 popper and 5 speed. These are extremely rare. What are you doing with a 2.5 that you'd need an AX-15?
  2. TJ D30s will bolt in, but they're low pinion. As mentioned, you will never every bit of brake hardware with the axle.
  3. Thought that truck looked familiar.. :hmm:
  4. How did you bleed the clutch? 1986 is external slave. External slaves must be removed from the bellhousing, and held compressed when bled.
  5. put in a 25.. just keep a look out for melting in the wire (RARELY happens) Never put in a fuse bigger than what's called for... kinda the whole point of having a fuse.
  6. Have you talked to them about rolling back to the previous version when everything worked?
  7. It's inside one of the fenders. Driver's side, I believe.
  8. That the one you got from me?
  9. I would put the truck in 4wd with the engine off(no vacuum), so the CAD doesn't engage. See if you can turn the front DS by hand. If you can't, then your T-case should be fine. If you can turn it, then something in the T-case kerploded.
  10. Pretty sure 91+ tach is ECU controlled. I put a gauge cluster from a 92 4.0 XJ into a 91 2.5 MJ without changing a thing and the tach works correctly.
  11. I don't know if he is or not. Bore and stroke is different by a few thousandths between Renix and HO. Casting material is also different, but for the most part, they should be the same.
  12. Yes, but the HO intake ports don't line up with the Renix manifold, so you really don't gain anything.

    Another MJ?

If it's a 4 popper, it's not a BA 10/5. It's an AX-4/5. Pretty much anything is worth $150 if it's good enough to not dissentigrate on the way home.
  14. Sunrise beach huh? How often are you around there? I've seen several MJs between Laurie and Camdenton.
  15. Oh believe me, I understand. I drove through Springfield on my way to college orientation on wet roads. From rain, and I almost $#!& myself. These people are scary. It's amazing how many cars I see driving through town in the dead of night with no headlights on.
  16. Send some my way if you don't mind.
  17. Very, very few did, and I believe that they were all autos. They did, however, come with buckets and the mini console. Only ever seen one though.
  18. Are the rears adjusted correctly?
  19. I'd pull each wheel and check for leaks, and probably bleed it while I was at it. Gives a good chance to check the pads too.
  20. Possibly one of the worst shows on TV. I wouldn't watch it if you paid me.
  21. Howdy neighbor :wavey: Ever make it over by Springfield?
  22. 4.88s in the 8.25 would probably be fine. Don't see why it wouldn't be. I'm not 100% on this, but I don't think 4.88s are available for a HP D30.
  23. I have accounts on several other forums, but I don't even bother anymore. I left Jeepsunlimited when I had an entire thread telling me that if I have to ask questions, I shouldn't be on the forum. ...isn't that the whole point? This is the only place I go now. My brother has an account, but seems reluctant to post since he doesn't have an MJ, just the XJ. I've told him this is the best place to ask any Jeep related question. Ugh.

  25. Pukey BA 10/5 and earlier AW-4 used a 21 spline input on the T-case. AX-15 and later AW-4 used a 23 spine input.
