  1. The reason they mentioned 90-92 is because of the brake generation. In 90 they went to the 2.25 x 9 inch brakes, from the 1.75 x 10 inch ones. You can put an older axle on just fine, you just need to bleed brakes. Remember, they're just a monkey reading from a book, they probably know nothing about Jeep axles.
  2. Should stay right around 210. If you know the gauge and sender are fine, you thermostat could be either incorrect, or dying.
  3. Are you dropping the trackbar as well?
  4. I only ask about the HO swap because of one not-so-little thing. Yes, you can run an HO 4.0 in a Renix truck by keeping all the renix accessories and sensors. However, you keep a Renix flywheel. The Renix systems WILL NOT work with a HO flywheel. Splicing wires and putting in a HO CPS WILL NOT make it work.
  5. TJs didn't get an 8.25. D30 will be a Low Pinion. Spring perches can be had from the dealer. Were you still looking to swap that HO into your truck?
  6. Got a pic of what you're talking about? Last AX-15 I pulled had 4 bolts that went through a plate and into the trans.
  7. IIRC, really the only time an all metal headgasket is needed, is when you're doing some sort of forced induction.
  8. What was your truck before? BA 10/5 or an automatic? If it was originally a 5 speed with the BA 10/5, did you re-use the slave cylinder?
  9. Drill two holes, Tap. Or find a factory plate holder, which actually bolt to the bottom of the bumper.
  10. No, you cannot just unbolt the T-case. You need a 2wd transmission. There is ZERO difference between a 4wd and 2wd trans crossmember.
  11. Search for 'AX-15 swap', and you should find about 3,000 threads on the subject.
  12. That's not what I based it on. An AX-15 could have been swapped in by a PO. I based it on the transmission in the picture being a BA 10/5, which is most noticeable by the subtle ribbing, bolts along the bottom, and lack of a midplate. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=11699
  13. You have a BA 10/5.
  14. My 97 is the same way! As for wanting power windows in a 97+ XJ, get ready for the switches to go bad on you. My First 97 XJ was that way. Mine also came with an idiot light cluster.
  15. Ain't gonna get an HP out of a ZJ or TJ unless it was swapped in.
  16. I have a 99 XJ with an automatic, cruise, and manual locks and windows. When it comes down to it, packages don't mean squat.

  19. Well, if you're that far from the router, then there's your problem. Cat5e is good for 300 feet. 100ft cable isn't that expensive either, if you know where to get it. ;) http://www.monoprice.com/products/produ ... 1&format=2 I thought that longer the cable the worse the connection is but your connected... I found this wall outlet thingy........Router to outlet, outlet to xbox, using 3 foot cable for both and it works. made by netgear. You mean networking through your house's power grid? I didn't realize that stuff was available yet. I can't imagine it has the best ping times, which is the most important part of online gaming.
