  1. Sounds like a good time for an external slave AX-15.
  2. It's that damn itch we all get when we pick up a wrench.
  3. That's why you ignore those emails. Or, hey, use a fake one. You'll need it long enough to activate the account. I have never gotten spam from photobucket. I have never had them want me to do anything. I've had my current email address for 3 years and get maybe 4-5 spam emails a day.
  4. It's called advertising, and photobucket does have pro accounts that you pay for. What are they going to do, sell my pictures?
  5. I do a lot of work online and don't trust them....... What could they possibly do to you?
  6. No, you cannot upload to this site. There are no restrictions that have anything to do with post count. You'd a full-fledged member as soon as your account is active. You need to host your pictures somewhere else. There are plenty of free ones, photobucket being the most well-known. Most of my pics I upload to my MySpace or Facebook, because those will automatically reduce them to a more forum-friendly size.
  7. Welcome! :needpics:

    Jeep J-5500

This was mine in case you ever see it.
  9. There's a bolt in the middle you have to remove.

I'd be interested to see these... It'd be nice to find out that my old J10 went to a yard instead of the crusher.
  11. Check inside the passenger side of your bumper, there's supposed to be a vacuume reserve tank there. If there's no lines going to it, that may be your problem right there.
  12. I remember a post awhile back about an axle ID... basic stuff here, normally. But we did some digging and found out that a PO of the truck the guy just bought had swapped in a Chrysler 7.25", which is apparently even worse than the D35.
  13. Check the vacuum lines going to the vacuum reserve tank in the bumper. There may be a hole in the tank too... that's what caused one of mine to get stuck on blower. As for you 4wd, best to just do this now and get it over with.
  14. So basically the 84-85 D35 was an even crappier D35?
  15. Be worth it as long as the unibody isn't tweaked and I could force the guy to watch me burn the seat.
  16. Pics? As far as I knew, the only rear in the 84-85 XJ was the 35.
  17. Just filling in all the blanks  OP never posted whether this 90 is a 2.5 or 4.0.
  18. 86 2.5 is a Renix system.
  19. My Ex has a 92 Tracker with that gutless little 1.6. Yeah, they make crap power... which is why (at least) the autos came with 5.12 axle gearing from factory.
  20. what do they call it up north? Uhm. Bag.
  21. I've seen some difference coming to Missouri, but for the most part I can understand them. Although, I was totally lost the first time I was asked if I wanted a 'sack' for my groceries.
  22. If it's in really nice shape, and nothing mechanically wrong with it, it could easily be worth $1500. Some pics before you buy would help us help you with that.
  23. The viscous coupling in the fan should generate drag, but the bearing it's bolted to shouldn't. Is the belt on or off?
