  1. Nice windshield. YJ? It actually looks better than I had imagined such a mod could. Nope from a 78 FullSize Bronco  Huh, I thought it was off a jeep too.
  2. Drachir, calling Drachir.......... Dra"H to the C"ir  reporting for duty ->
  3. That looks like it could be mine, with the exception of the single lock. Somebody got a deal on that. Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures  - Rich
  4. Sorry to hear about your troubles - and your loss. I hope it turns around for you. - Rich
  5. Great to have you on the Comanche Club  .
  6. That would have to be approved / done through Pete...his site...his logo ;) . They would have to work out a deal with him so that it benefits & supports the site just like I do with making & selling the Club shirts  Please get with Pete and start making these  . I want one bad.
  7. Glad to hear she is doing better. I will leave out what I would have done to the cat for another time :brows:
  8. Tail lights look great
  9. This looks a lot like my topper, but in a short box version. Any other shots of the topper?
  10. Thanks bro! Its been a roller coaster right from the get-go but BIG NEWS! Even tho the small intestine is still stickin out her side [ya its gross trust me :ack: ], they have decided that until they re-connect it in 4 weeks, she can come HOME!!!!!!!!!!! Tuesday 23rd is the estimated 'outta there' date. WOO HOOO! Over four weeks flat on her back with bitchy nurses and crappy reception on the TV not to mention food that a goat wouldnt eat and they decided theres nothing more they can do for now so may as well send her home to begin the third phase of therapy. Now I get to take about a month off from work [leave of absence] to play Mr Nurse. I'm hopefully going to get some help with house pmt and utilities thru a 'employee in need' program at work cuz I'm months behind in everything. Lights and heat are about to be shut off, TV was shut off four days ago but I don't give a damn I don't watch it anyway but thats all she has so I guess I gotta figger out a way to get that back on. Burning wood to heat the place now [and sleeping with four cats helps too     ]. They capped the tracheostomy tube to see if she could breath solo for 24 hrs and she did so its gone now. Shes happy. That had to suck man I can't imagine having one o them :( Stay tuned....   I am very please to hear that she can go home . I can't imagine having and internal organ hanging out of my body, let alone having the doctors say it is ok for the time being. 2nd you on the Trach :ack: . ~ You know, if things get really bad, the cook at the Chinese restaurant down town says Kitty Kitty tastes just like chicken :brows: - just a thought. Hey check your PM, I believe I might be able to do something for your time at home :clapping: . - Rich
  11. Thanks everyone  . I think I will go with the consensus and get a new motor - thanks for the web address Wahoo. I will also pick up the nylon bushings like Eagle and Chromebrod ;) suggested. Pete, I replaced the intermittent wiper box and had the same results. If the motor does not fix the problem, I will have to get a new one :( at 100 bucks.
  12. Small update - My brake lights are on the fritz again :fs1: :headpop: . So I was messing around with everything - unplugging, re-plugging, wiggling wires, etc. Long story short, the brake light switch connector was melted. So if I hit a good bump - no brakes, another good bump - back on. I am going to the JY to pick up a replacement, and then I will solder that one in. Guy on EBay still has not returned my email about what exactly the chrome framed license holder is made of. I don’t want chrome plastic. Sorry Don, I am going to paint over the chrome
  13. I am at a loss :dunno: . My windshield wipers are not working - well just when I need them most. First off, on the rare occasions when they do work they are weak = underpowered? I thought it might be the delay box, but that did not help. They have not worked in weeks. Some times they would move an inch then stop. It was raining today and no wipers. I get home 4 hours later and pull into the garage. I forgot I had left them in the wipe position and they came on :fs1: . My questions are - are the motors notoriously weak, and would missing that plastic insert under the cowl cause this to happen - maybe water logged? Oh yeah, I also have not put the windshield washer fluid reservoir and pump back in- could this cause it? I would really appreciate some feed back on this one because I am just too burnt out to figure it out. The good news is I am driving the MJ everyday, but this forces me to address all the known and unknown issues. - Rich
  14. Any professional automotive paint suppliers should carry it, or go to their dealer locator page on their web site. Used the same SEM color on the seats and center console. It's holding up very well. The arm rest is still in perfect condition. The DS seat, where my arse scrapes getting in and out still has paint on it! I think it all has to do with the prep work before painting. My dad introduced this to me when we restored old 60's Corvette's. Great stuff and you can always touch-up with a spray if needed.
  15. I think you mean bipolar people are not half bad :rotfl2:
  16. Yes, the topic is Right Here But I lost the pictures  So, I reloaded them Here :D That is it :clapping: , thanks Wildman  . I really like the look of that. If I ever pick up a short bed :brows:
  17. Just another option - there is a picture somewhere on the forum a MJ with a Ford stepside bed on it. I searched but I can't find it - you may be able to do better. It looked good by the way.
  18. OMG that is a good one :rotf:
  19. My leaks were - the front windshield was barely attached, the fire wall grommet like JB said, rear window seal, massive hole in floor, door seals, and this one was strange - the seam between the roof and the rain gutter had separated  . It took my legally blind painter to find that one. He noticed a bit of sunlight coming into the cab.
  20. 88 :wavey: , all I did has hack saw the valve out of the piece and re-connect the hose. It now looks like a a 3way pipe connector that Ed in North Ga. talked about - good idea by the way Ed :clapping:
  21. Wow that looks nice. The rim & tire combo is perfect. What is your first impressions of the MTZ's? Running the same Wheel/Tire combo on the TJ as well... just 33x12.5 instead of 31x10.5 on the MJ... I've run 33x12.5 MTZ's on my TJ now for a couple years and REALLY like them in everything I have used them in (Mud, Rock, Sand and Snow) and for a DD... I don't know how long they will last...seems to be a "softer" rubber... I've only got about 6K on my TJ tires and Might have another 25-30K or so... When I go up to 35" I'll look at MTZ's first unless there is something newer out there. But on the TJ, quiet "enough" on the road, and never been disappointed off... was running 6-8PSI all weekend in the snow and have run that in the rocks/mud and not yet busted a bead, so other than being kind of pricey, I like the looks and ability so far. Wade I am also running the 33" MTZ's and I really like them so far. Just wanted to know if you felt the same way. I put in a lot of miles on my commute, so it will be interesting to see how they hold up.
