  1. As RockMJ said - we should have enough tools between us. I carry most of the hand tools needed to work our trucks. The hoist is a good thing  . Do you have the engine leveling thing-a-ma-job? I can bring mine if needed - it does help.
  2. :clapping: drums! If you make it out there - look for the Dark Blue inside bucket seat belts  . I have half heatedly tried for a Florida M&G for some time. But our numbers are Growing! It is a great idea though. Look here -> viewtopic.php?f=21&t=21258&start=105 as we are trying to get out to help one of our own. I am also hoping to get as many MJ's over to the shop to hang out and get pictures. I would like the fill the lot with MJ's! I refer to it as a War Party  . You are welcome to come :wavey: - Rich
  3. Thank you buxmj. You're another one of the great Dad's on CC  . Damien is my nephew and he is almost 7, so I hope he will want it in 10 years   ?

  10. I placed my order today for this amazing winch bumper -> Cody4359 found the bumper for me - viewtopic.php?f=3&t=33882 . James with RLC Welding and Fabrication in Louisville, KY makes them (502)403-6832. In a few weeks I will have plenty of pictures. It should look great on this jeep. I am also working with ProtoFab to get another rear bumper for this one. TTC - Rich
  11. Yes it will  . We need to get Brandon to come also - that would make 3, 4, no 5 total! We can push the 86 out for photos! If we can get 86comanchexNate up and running - SEVEN! It will be a War Party - I think I made that up????
  12. I didn't notice with the amazing blue MJ there :D
  13. Thanks Rymanrph. It is an awesome place, but I do not own it. I just fill it up with my stuff :brows: . This place is right around the corner from my house . No more 35 minute drive to work on our projects. The SRT belongs to the property owner. That is a fast car.
  14. Had RenegadeDave down today to work on the MJ's -> /uploads/archive/d1d1f007ff2e0e0e850829beea2fff7b/0f85fd0496f7ce45a77234bcf9a5b44b.jpg. I have a nasty oil leak and I assumed it was the rear main seal. I figured I would start with the valve cover gasket in hopes that that may be the reason for the leak - and an easy fix! -> I pulled off the valve cover, cleaned up the gasket, and reinstalled it. /uploads/archive/d1d1f007ff2e0e0e850829beea2fff7b/c1238a1fb6cf53c2f37bc639c94adc59.jpg It seams to have fixed the problem! ***Update 1/18 - worked for a day :fs1: . Have a new VC gasket ready to go in - it should be the end of the leak. We were going to install the RE Drop Brackets on the Damien project, but we all ended up spending more time riding the mini bike than actually working on the MJ.
  15. We were there today working on my oil leak. You will have to swing by the next time we are there - I want to pack the shop with MJ'er! I had a future Comanche Club member over today ->
  16. Thank you. Great dad  . I bet a few MJers on here would be willing to be adopted for a shot at a Magnum powered MJ :D
  17. :clapping:
  18. Man is that awesome! Never seen that before
  19. definitely another option.
  20. I would love to help out  . I just need advanced notice because of work/family. Where exactly are you in FL? I know you told me but I cannot remember for the life of me. I think this sounds like a plan, get a few of us together on a weekend and have a little wrenching party  RockMJ I am right down the street from you in Tarpon Springs  .

  22. Thank you! I do not think you are going to be disappointed with the Rough Country Brackets
  23. I am planning on running 33 to 35" tires, so I need to start planning on what lift to get. I love the Rubicon Express lift on my Blue MJ, so I was looking at getting the Control Arm Drop Brackets for this Comanche too. I saw the RE DB on the 4wheel Parts website for $269.99  . I figured I would look for something cheaper. After some research I found out that Rough Country makes some nice looking Control Arm Drop Brackets and @ $189.95, this was a deal. - Until I found http://mudflaps.com/  Rubicon Express Control Arm Drop Brackets for $165 shipped! I got exactly what I ordered and quickly! I am very pleased with this company. First new part of the front suspension lift ->
  24. I can't keep the name of my projects straight, so it is time for a name change. The new name for the project is "Damien" - it is going to be his jeep someday. The Little Man and his first jeep -> Passing the addiction on!
  25. When and where? Brandon Count me in!
