I had my Km2s mounted to my black rims, i think I'm going to put the ltbs on the chrome rims and just keep them around for the time being. I still need to find another rim to mount the AT to. I also picked up a tube bender this week so that should do the trick in filling that big empty spot in front of the truck. I'm also looking at doing a Rock Krawler Long arm kit -
Those kits are out of my price range. I have seen mixed reviews on the IRO kit. although it seems alot of the negative comments are coming from people who don't run the kit. I want my truck to still be streetable. What is everyones opinion on the RC long arms?

Well I have decided its time to make the jump. I am currently running a RE 4.5 inch kit with a 2inch spacer and non adjustable CAs. my tires are pulled back into my fenders some, and i have adjustability etc etc. So, My question is what kit is good for the MJ, meaning fits and bolts up well, performance, strength value and so forth. I plan to stick around 6 inches of lift as well. Point me in the right direction? :help:

Well I sold the BFGs a while back, they were pretty dry rotted and worn, but its ok i doubled my money :D now I'm picking up a set of 35 KM2s, these are pretty new, and come with a spare AT. So I think I,m at a point where I'm ready to step up to long arms, with the shorties my tires are pulled back to far(no adjustment) and i really need them forward to clear the tires more. What suggestions as far as a long arm kit? As for the electrical problems my starter was pulling waaaay to much juice, so that problem fixed. I have yet to mount an elec. fan, but will soon. And I'm thinking about going ahead and doing the brake booster swap. Hopefully all this will make the truck more driveable, (AC would be nice too) My jeep needs some love :help: -
How to add a magnet in side of the diff

Your best bet is to get a fill plug that has one built onto it. I'm sure others will chime in as to where to get one :wrench: -
should be a cool project. I love those flairs. My truck needs a set! :D

:agree: They had the best all around entry level lift kit for a pretty good price.

I try to argue this with my "Anti-gun" friends. They are the type of people who think all guns are bad, and guns kill people.... Yadda yadda yadda. What no one seems to realize is that by outlawing guns, you are only keeping the responsible gun owners that abide by the rules from having them. Legal or not, that thug will still have one. I would at least be able to have one too, legally. I bet more crooks would think twice if they knew that a couple people in that building they are going to rob might be packing. Rob . someone who gets it! I believe DC did something like this a few years back, and guess what happened? Crime rates went up! What? how could that be? All those thugs and criminals arent supposed to be carrying hand guns, but they were. :shake:

the officer makes a comment about people like "him" being the cause of officers getting shot. do you really think someone who goes to the trouble to legally posses a legal firearm concealed on their person is going to shoot a cop?!?! :fs1: That guy was so out of line, and his attitude was bad long before he realized he had a gun.

:dunno: my dana 35 couldnt handle street duties with my 33s, i blew it up. My dana 30 has been fine, even on 35s no issues

My city is building two natural gas fueling stations, One being paid for by the city and the other by the natural gas company. I wouldnt be surprised if the city switched their fleets over to it as well

My family has done that twice. fly out and rent a houseboat for a week and just camp different places for the night. lots of fun

we had a bad storm like that a few weeks back. all the mobile insurance trucks and hail damage trucks are just now starting to leave.... lots of damaged vehicles

i would say it is worth it. the axle alone is worth about half the asking price. so you should be able to part the rest out and make at least a good bit of cash back.

sorry to hear about your loss. sounded like a good guy. my prayers go out to the family

i really don't want to order a bumper, wait for it etc. I'd like to pic this one up locally and just run it for the time being until i decide to make mine, or just get the one i want. When I'm home from school i will go look at it and decide what i really want to do. but it looks like I will probably end up trying to get it, as i need to drive the jeep this summer
-
my main concern is how does it mount up, and is it worth a darn to be pulling from
-
I'm not looking into buying a new bumper. i have one i found used for about half that price. i was just wondering if it would be worth picking up, or is the mounting complete garbage. thanks tho

I know a lot of you guys don't like rustys products. and i have stayed away from them myself due to their reputation. But i have come across a Winch bumper made by them, my truck really needs a bumper, and a place to mount my winch. I don't have the time to make one like i was planning. so just to get the truck useable, what do you guys think? my main concern is how well it mounts up and how sturdy the mounts are. this is the bumper(I'm not too crazy about the stinger  ) http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchant.m ... de=bum_rus thanks guys :wrench:

The AK is an awesome platform, but like stated above you can't beat a shotgun. less chance of hurting someone in a nearby room/house, and a better chance of stopping whoever you are shooting at. Also like said above just pumping the gun will make most run, some won't and you will have to use your weapon. just some things to think about
