I don't think I will make it to Castana, I am also having some cooling issues (radiator ate a tow strap), but will try to next year.

I wish I had saw this when you needed help, I would have drove down to lend a hand. I know right where you were too, at the BP gas station. Glad you made it home?? (I assume you made it home)

I was told that it would help clean out the motor, and I think it did help. Here it is on a rest run, I realized that I forgot to tighten up the LCA mounts. Going to put it through it's paces this weekend, will post up pics of the aftermath, and maybe a few action shots too. Image Not Found

that's what I wanted to know, I just re-did that on my jeep so the BU lights would work with my ax-15 and I didn't complete the loop (like on the stock harness). I just want to be sure that wouldn't cause another problem later.

88 Peugeot tranny behind a 4.0 there is a 4 wire harness connector 2 wires are for the backup light, but what are the other 2 for? One has low voltage on it, and I think the other is grounded, why are they hooked together??

Only updates are The Comanche runs great now, I unhooked the EGR, and slowly poured a half quart of ATF down the throttle body. I also have a floor (which looks like crap, but works) :clapping:

I know it may not be the same thing that you want but auto zone had LEDs that replace the bulbs in our taillight housings.

Replacement Fuel Injector Install Writeup?
bpm4x4 replied to SuperWade2's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Just to update this topic a little, I just replaced all the o-rings on my 88 yesterday, I used the o-ring rail kit from Car quest (8.99) and it had all brown o-rings, I had to go back inot town to get the o-rings for the fuel lines and ended getting the o-rings at advance auto parts (o'riley's did not have them). I stopped at a hardware store and bought some for a faucet and was going to use them but then I stopped at advance. I will post up the dorman part numbers of the o-rings for the fuel line. One question I have, on the rear (main) fuel line connection to the rail, I could not get it together with the 2 o-rings and the plastic spacer, so I left one out. It does not leak so should I be concerned?? -
I did not make it there for Howiepalooza when they had it there (for those of you that know what Howiepalooza is), but have wanted to go. My Jeep is not ready yet, but is getting close. There is also some private land here in Southern Iowa that would be great for a meet and greet (http://www.miobi.org). I am about an hour from here, and about 4 hrs from Hannibal. There is also SMORR or KS Rocks in MO and a small off road park up by Castana, IA (NW Iowa). Just some ideas

pictures of rubicon express 5.5 lift and 33's
bpm4x4 replied to comanche13's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
this is with 4.5 lift and ACOS and 35s (full width axles too) Image Not Found -
Same thing with the Car Quest filters: the red ones are the cheapie line from Wix and the blue ones are the good wix filters.

At work today we went through 6 cases of Penray Winter Thaw (similar to Power Service 911). Every truck we put it in had treated fuel in it. If you can get a torpedo heater on it and change the filters and add Power service 911 (or equivalent). Next, find another diesel truck (the bigger, the better) and jump off of it but hook up to your starter solenoid, not to your battery. If I had another reason to go to Coralville/IA City, I'd swing in and give you a hand.

Image Not Found Mine has a full width rear with 35x15.5 Swamper SXs, it is hella wide. Half of my tire width is outside the body. If you are going to keep it 2wd I would stay away from a full width axle setup. I have not wheeled mine yet, so I am not sure if I like this setup.
