Hi guys,
here is my finished restored comache. It is 89 and I remade it in a NATO version, with Apache helicopter paint found in Germany in a military surplus. I integrated the winch in the front bumper (Warn), and equipped it in addition to its wired control with a radio remote control, which is very practical to tension the trees before cutting them down when I do wood. It received a 90-liter LGP tank behind the cockpit, but I have to redo the trunk, which is aluminum and was a bit messed up by the mechanic. At the time of purchase it had 117,000 km, and after having changed things (pump, alternator, calostat, etc ...) it works like clockwork. Just the kidding heater, and I don't know why, the heater valve on the Y-fitting doesn't seem to change anything regardless of its position. Best regards. Jean-Paul, in France
After searching for almost 20 years for a Comanche that wasn't junk, or $2k plus, I managed to pick up (no pun intended) a very clean 2wd 1989 Comanche Pioneer. Found by my oldest boy by chance while working for a friend of a friend. After sending me a single pic I jumped on it, picking it up for $400.
