Exhausts???

I'm gonna be redoing my exhaust on my Truck this spring and was just wondering how everyone else has theirs routed?.....Stock locations, turndowns, whatever......post some pics if ya can, thanks

This is what i run , its a flowmaster 2 chamber with a 4" turn down and is very loud just how i like it :brows: :roll:

I really like the exit in front of the RR tire idea....i think thats what I'm gonna shoot for, right now i have an old Cherrybomb attatched to a rusty hole filled OEM Tailpipe....blah :roll:

yeah i've got to get up early tomorrow and get to an autozone myself. i turned the truck on this morning and this gawdawful rattling/buzzing answered. got under the truck and there's a flap of metal hanging off the muffler. it's loud, that's for sure.

stock routing, chopped off past the muffler outlet, with a turndown tip. I'll be replacing the stock muffler with a cherrybomb here shortly...

just an fyi i had my exhaust routed under the frame and between the leaf spring for awhile. whenever i hit up a trail and did any kind of articulating i squashed the tip a little bit. i run the same setup as mjeff and like it

Where did you have it exit? Mine is well protected. I would need to completely invert the leaf spring just to TOUCH mine.....

i ran it exactly how you had it, i think the pipe was 2.25 or so. my springs didn't have as much arch as yours though

i used to have it exit in front of the tire exactly like dr thunders, but didnt like it because in the winter, the moisture would turn my rim hazy and it looked bad. so now its all stock, except for a flowmaster 40. it has a nice agressive sound, but its not terribly loud which is nice.

I was planning on having the exit on the rr above the leaf pack as well... nice and out of the way.

i was speptical because i had a 2.5" single in dual out magnaflow and it sounded like a rice rocket so i changed to a single in and out 2.5" flowmaster and am very happy
