a1awind Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 the wire wheel covers on the last one add a touch of class! i like the first one.. very nice
BLHTAZ Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008  Look at the prices. None of them are worth half of what they are asking...
chicofuentes0224 Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Yeah, well you know what guys. I know we've all decided that no one should pay more than $2.37 for a Comanche, unless of course you live outside of WI, but lets be serious for a minute. What would you guys sell your manche for if ya put it up for sale? I know what Kelley Blue Book says. I myself would not sell mine anymore, but for some reason if I had to it would be more than $1500. I'm sure I've gone way over that just in parts alone. Actually I'm gonna tally what I've spent in parts since I got it in August of 2007. I'll be right back.
maddzz1 Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 I was searching the other day and noticed that atlanta had more MJ's than all the others i checked combined.
88XJSport Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 Thats because JeepcoMJ owns all the other ones. He pics them up before they even get a chance to go on craigslist. ATL is too far from him....
89eliminator Posted March 22, 2008 Posted March 22, 2008 What would you guys sell your manche for if ya put it up for sale? i know i may sound insane, but i wouldn't let mine go for under $6000.

I don't think that's insane at all. I just went through all my reciepts and I've spent $2,476.95 on just parts for my truck. Granted, almost everything was new. Some prices I could have paid less for and some I got really good deals on. And that doesn't even count the $1800 I spent on the truck (got ripped off on Ebay). Still I wouldn't even think of selling for anything less than $4000 and my truck is still stock everything and I'm not even done restoring it yet. That's it we're starting a new thread.
purplexj Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 Those do sound high untill you buy one for $750 and start trying to get it to that cond. I know, still before I even did anything to mine people offered $1500. I can get others for $1500 but would have to drive 5- 6 hours just to see it. Then end up dumping more $ into it.
smartazz19 Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 I just picked up my rust free 1986 off craigslist in atlanta. It wasnt any of those you linked to, but i got it for $800. 2.5L 5-speed 2wd. Runs good. Looks pretty good too, but i making it look better. Like 1997 better. I saw a few of those you linked to in person, not that impresive for 4k. FYI there is one in Dallas, GA for $500 6-cyl, auto, 4x4 with a lift. Need fuel lines and some front end body parts.
HOrnbrod Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Yeah, but here's the rarest of the rare on FleaBay, a 1981 Commanche, item # 130212119030. Looks pretty good too, for an 81 Commanche.
