xjcrazy09
9 inch was trash...it came out of a older mustang so it was 27 spline drum brake. It would have cost so much more to build. The 8.8 is only .2 of an inch smaller in ring size and it offers rear discs.

CWLONGSHOT
VERY NICE RIG!! I have one suggestion, You need to get a cover for that winch. I have the identical winch and synthetic line setup. I like the neoprene Ramsey cover. Its stretches over everything. The synthetic line is degraded by the UV in sunlight. The loop where the hook attaches is especially susceptible to failure. this is where synthetics get a bad rap... CW
xjcrazy09
I'm in Knoxville, Tn Thanks for the suggestion for the winch line. Ill look into getting one of those. Who makes them?
CWLONGSHOT
http://www.quadratec.com/products/92143_105.htm I have gone thru a couple on my jeeps. I seem to only get two seasons from them. But compaired to the ine itself.. the cover is cheap insurance. CW
xjcrazy09
Very true. The synthetic lines quite expensive. Does the Ramsey cover also fit the Warn?
xjcrazy09
Scratch that last post. Found the Warn covers. Thanks for the heads up. I can tell how the sun has already affected the line from only one summer of exposure.
CWLONGSHOT
#1 killer of synthetic lines!!! In comp they replace them YEARLY!!! MOSTLY because of UV damage!!! Like I said, I have the SAME winch set-up as you do. It fits mine very nicely, I moved my solenoids to top center of the winch. CW
