years for courtesy lights?

according to random ebay ad the bigger one is 90-96. (part # 56004406)  If true, I assume the smaller plug is 84-89?

Yes, that’s correct, the change happened in 1990 models.

Yup, my 88 and 89 have the smaller plugs and my 90 the larger ones.

My 87 has the small plug as well

84-89 will have the small pack-con connection. I have no idea what 90 has.

This is out of my ‘91. Don’t know what to call it but it looks pretty generic. I’m sure I’ve seen it in a lot of Chrysler interiors. No weatherproofing at all.

I wish I could figure this one out. It uses the same terminals the later Jeep Eagle radio connectors use.
