Yes please, id like to fix up a few more so we can do a big batch test.

But so far i have about 5 that I have tested good.

I have found that these modules are suuupperr sensitive to their wiring connections.

Ooo I got one. My 84 XJ one day was working fine for the wiper module, something got wet and now it won’t work right. It just constantly cycles and keeps tripping the circuit breaker. And I’ve tried other modules and some work and some don’t even though they all test fine in my MJ. So I’ve got some digging to do for the wiring but that’s and example.

A perfect example. But in my case, the wiper motor shakes and moves just enough to jostle the wires around which causes bad readings. I had a good module working on the lowest delay setting but the linkage would cause the wires to shake and caused a contact issue which made it run constant instead.

The wiring on these are super simple but the grounds need to be checked. The the contacts for the connectors that plug into the module from the harness I have found wiggle around a lot and may cause instances of poor connections too.

Lots of simple variables that may be overlooked.

And is why I would love a love test sorce from a truck instead of a test stand to se, hopefully, the same results, not different. But if I get different results I can find out why.

Is it the connectors on the harness?

Does the wiper motor need a much stronger ground? Pinched wire? Failing  wiper switch?

Also id say first check the connector going into the wiper motor if you have not yet.

The circut breaker has 3 wires from it. 2 green wires with a black chase, one of those goes to the blue wire on the wiper motor, One goes to the wiper module, and then a brown wire that goes to accessory power on the column. So it could even be a an exposed wire in the column for the breaker thats grounding out.

Just my thoughts on that

I think it’s the wire in the column somewhere. Cause I checked the wiper motor and the switch and even swapped switches too and still the same results. And I did have to root around with the column and its ignition switch so it’s probably that wire that goes there. I even did a continuity test from that wire to body and it grounds out so I know where it lies. Just need to pull the XJ out and address it.

The module on my '93 ZJ lost its lower speeds but not full and max. I disassembled it and found no obvious issues- possibly a capacitor. Except my soldering station requires calibration!

Look closely at the contacts for the solenoid on the control board, I believe that was my issue...
