Any pro's or cons with it? If I had to guess someone sold the 44 from your rig years ago. Even if the 44 needed parts it would've been easier to fix it than to swap in a whole nother axle, unless the housing was toast or it needed new gears.
acfortier Posted February 9, 2023 Posted February 9, 2023 Assuming it is an actual Metric Ton and someone didn't just swap in the badges and leaf packs... yeah, it doesn't make sense to swap out the D44 for a 8.25.
