jeepmj_tj
post up all the camper shell/topper pics and if you know the brand that would be great, perf. fiberglass ones. I'm sorta looking for one in particular that i have seen, it was a smooth top that flowed with the trucks lines real well. It may have been one i saw on ebay like a year ago, but i just can't rember.. joe

kidkusu
My top was a MJ specific made. I got it from Snug top about 8 years ago. I do not think they offer tops for Jeeps anymore, but you can check ther Web cite or call them for specifics. Let them know that I have one and if they do not believe you I can give you the S/N on it so tey can track it and go Holy Cow we did make one. It was kinda pricey though as I remember i paid almost $3000 for it, mainly cause it had to get shipped form Cali to Germany, but it is full fiberglass, paint matched, carpeted, tinted and sliding windows on the sieds. At the time in Germany I couldn't find anyhing that would fit and I needed it to transport my Dog, cause topless dog transport in Germany is illegal. CWLONGSHOT
Guys, I gotta say, Those two MJ's are the absolutely sharpest looking Comanche's I have seen!! They both really look AWESOME!! GREAT JOB!! BTW, Kid, Are you running spacers under those 10 spokes? I really LOVE these rims, but they have quite a bit of BS and with larger tars tend to rub with out spacers. Just curious. kidkusu
dude they do rub a little in the back when I am backing out on sharp turns and they rub on the lower control arms on sharp turns in the parking lot. I do have spacers on the way and soon as i get em ill let you know if they still rub. Hopefully it will put an end to dat shiznet. Thanks for the compliments. My MJ is actually my wifes DD and she won't let that thing die. everytime something is wrong with it(u know that sound coming from the under the hood) I gots to go figure out what she is talking about. But yea it is Old Reliable. Thanks again. :D
CWLONGSHOT
I bought a set off EBAY. 1.25" ones, that reduces the BS from 5.5 to 4.25, enough so 31" swampers didnt rub. Remember, Interco runns true to size, so these tars where just a tad smaller than 33's! I took them off for two reasons, they where advertized to not need retorquing after three "cycles" of retorquing. After 5, times and 5 times finding them loose, I took them off. They also recomend not to use loctite. It bothered me enough that i HAD to remove them....for peace of mind!! I have a set of BFG ko AT's in 31", I may try these with out the spacers, but not yet sure.... CW
kidkusu
shot thats to bad. I have no idea what kind of spacers my dude ordered for me, but he is pretty good about working with you if things don't go right with the stuff you get from him. He also ordered a new header for me to put on. I had my local muffler shop weld in a magnaflow 1into2 with twin chrome 2.5" tips coming out the rear right side behind the tire. Looks pretty sweet, ill post up some pics soon as i get em.
pingpong
I have been running Spider trax Wheel spaces for the last 2 yrs, with absolutely ZERO issues. Yes I did retorque them after a few miles, and used red loc-tite on them. The down side to them is they were kinda pricey at 125 a pair. I think trail sport makes a good quality set of spacers as well, I will check with my buddy who is running them on full width axle and 38's and see if he has had any issues. CWLONGSHOT
I think they would be fine if I lock tited them. but the MFG says NOT to, in big bold letters!! But in todays world, you have to wonder for the reason behind things....do they say this so some idiot dosent bother checking them if he lock tits them....then sues for millions when his tar flys off at 90mph in the free way!! I would LOVE to run a set of 10 spokes or even the old 5 spokes on my MJ!!! I think they look awesome!! CW

What'cha gonna do when you need to change a hub/bearing unit, or replace the rear brake shoes? I think I would have started with purple, and maybe progressed up to blue if the purple didn't work. I don't use red on anything.
Skidd3R
CWLONGSHOT If you are planning on getting some different 31s will you sell me the trxus? I was going to order a set when I got back to CT. 87manche
ten spokes are awesome, that's what I've got. How did you paint the inside of the rims to color match. I really like how that looks. What paint did you use. I'll likely be painting the insides of my spokes black, so when i herculine the bottom of the rockers it will match that. DirtyComanche
Just because we're talking about caps, I'll throw out there that I've got a light blue one for a shortbox, and it's free if you pick it up. sinned96
Its a snug-top utility shell the side windows open up just like the rear. Great for reaching stuff in the front of the bed. It is actually made for the MJ
