back in my youth I made a lot of them. :D  I do believe I still have a few boxes of models I never got around to.

I'm excited to start this one soon.20220130_170937.jpg.c1adcdcac6af558b657ba5d096560c2c.jpg

I recently learned that two factors killed modeling in the 70s, video games for one and then the fact that that president jimmy carters cunsomer advocacy changes that required an actual finished product to be put on the front of the box which killed alot of thr imagination i suppose. One of the reasons i was excited to see that retro throwback amt lightning model at wal mart.

I do plastic models from time to time, usually planes. I do have that exact J10 model waiting though.

Was def a fun one if you are looking to do it exactly like the box i used this paint in my airbrush ("Individual" brand metallic blue) i was very impressed by it.

Yes, I guess I'm into scale models. That's my statch, I also have a huge box of glue/paint-bombed kits I messed up as a kid that I want to restore and re-do. For Jeep content, I only have the Lindberg ZJ Grand Cherokee Limited and a Monogram Jeep CJ-7.

I wasn't into cars so much, but I built every Monogram 1/48 scale WWII aircraft they produced, and a bunch of the 1:35 scale armor from Testors and Tamiya.  Somewhere I have a box with nearly all the instructions to every armor kit I built, and a collection of those color pamphlets on how to create a diorama that Shep Paine did.

I built that same B-17 kit using that same diorama page as my inspiration. :D   I even embedded some plastic from the tail into my left thumb because I didn't really know what I was doing with an exacto and candle.  still in my thumb today.  I should have that model in a box somewhere.  can't imagine I would have pitched it.
