Change in Desk Top Computer

It took a couple of weeks but I've just upgraded from dinosaur Gateway Windows XP (circa 1995) to my new DELL Windows 10. Gateway/XP took a crap on me. Things are different but WOW.

Ahhhh sweeeet! That’s hell of a jump. There’s a program I use to make the start menu like XP. I forget what it’s called at the moment.

Thanks but I won't need it. I will adjust and YES its a new millennium. Biggest change is in the monitor, from electron tube to LED's. WOW

I did the same thing several years ago and I am not happy with the Dell or windows 10. Not sure what other options where are.

It was called Classic Shell. The developer quit when Windows 10 came out and broke it, but someone else picked it up. It's now called "Open Shell" and it's a free download. I'm running Open Shell now. It's the only thing that makes Windows 10 tolerable.

Thats right and agreed. Its the only thing that keeps me from going back to Vista or 7.

I'm taking on Windows 10 as a challenge. I've got the time. I've always enjoyed a good puzzle. Maybe I'll be eating some crow in a few months from now, but then again, maybe not.

I haven’t touched a computer since I got my first iFone. Currently rocking a iFone 7. I guess they are on iFone 13 now? I’ll see if I can get a new battery for this one before l get another fone.
