Thought on this 88 MJ?

Is this 12k worth of Comanche? Really thinking about buying this week, and obviously ponying up on the cash for this one.

Open ended question. Is it worth 12k to you? Does it have what you're looking for?Just glancing at the pics it seems decently put together and could warrant a higher price. I would also need to see the underside and rest of what's there. The tan interior and yellow aren't my jam. So to me no, not worth 12k but only because of the color.

The doors aren't shimmed properly, notice the door seams don't match very good but otherwise it looks good.  To be fair, it's really hard to get the 97+ doors perfect, mine are noticably off as well.  If you are looking for this kind of truck then I'd say it warrants going to look at it. 

 

I agree with Smokeyyank, the yellow on tan interior is not for me.

I don’t see why not. Mostly a matter of preference plus knowing what’s been done to it mechanically and what’s underneath. Put me down for preferring gray interior over the tan, but I like the yellow and there’s tons of XJ’s out there if you want to swap interior colors later.

did they strip it bare to do the repaint or did they mask things?

worth it to say its bought not built. some rather pay for a finished product. this has justifiable price.  enjoy it all day. good luck with striking a deal. let us know either way.
