I know I saw a post on this but I can't find it again :fistshake1:

Anyway, I will likely start putting my interior back together in a week or two and I was wondering what you guys are using for making your old plastics look good again? I am a bit wary of products that coat over the plastics (SEM) but if you have had experience let me know.

HAHAHA yes! Ok so if yall are skeptical about SEM products, let me tell you this. The plastic vent covers that are on the B-pillar outside on my truck, those I painted with SEM landau black and the sun has yet to fade the color away nor has washing them done anything nor has the paint chipped! I like SEM wayyyy better than rustoleum.

Yep that thread has good info on paint colors that match well. Many of them are not SEM actually. Make sure to do good surface prep and use adhesion promoter on your vinyl and plastic surfaces. I’ve been slowly restoring interior pieces since it’s hard to get those items shipped over here and it’s also getting harder and harder to find them in good shape
