nope the new red one.   (chances are slim I'd ever repaint it outside of an accident/repairs, but if I had to, I'm going to do it right)

Think that's what I'm going to do. Factory red was Colorado red though wasnt it?

that's the red that mine is, yes.  (though pretty faded on top)

Colorado red(BE AMC code and HE4 Chrysler code) was available on XJs and MJs from 87-about 91 to 92. 84-86 and probably earlier Jeeps had Sebring red as their red option. I think that color code is 3B.

I've got dozens of pictures of the truck from being stripped to painted and reassembled.  

 

For some reason I love the stripped look of the tailgate.  Need to make a tailgate bench with patina.
