New daily 93 zj

Recommended Posts

I just had it happen to me. Photo was the right way around in my library but uploaded upside down. I deleted it from the post, went into my photos, edited it, rotated it 360° (4x 90°), saved it, tried to upload again and it uploaded correctly. I’ve done it a few times in the past.

I suspect there’s a bug in iOS. It knows what angle your phone was at when you took the picture, and it may be confusing that data with the rotation flag when you upload. Any time I’ve had to go back in and manually zero the rotation to upload something here, the crop/rotate pane in the editor tries to automatically straighten the photo from some wonky angle. It doesn’t do that though on photos that show up in the library upside down. I’m pretty sure that’s just because I took it at a wonky angle (usually flat like if it’s a page out of a book) and I didn’t catch that the phone incorrectly guessed which way was up.

Finally decided to stop putting off redoing my cooling system.
 Parts replaced

- water pump (gates)

-thermostat (mopar)

-lower and upper rad hose (continental)

-drive belt (continental)

-fan clutch (Hayden hd)

-idler pulley (gates) .

bled cooling system and checked for proper function.
Had a coolant leak at the radiator at first but that’s resolved now.  it’s nice to actually have a heater now.
Old thermostat was stuck open so engine would never warm up.
Didn’t really get to take to many pics due to it getting dark out pretty quickly now   7E38CEC0-D55F-4F55-B4A1-A289B33BBD98.jpeg.5a58979c0e9b63c8ed2a46078de255c5.jpeg20B7A4B8-FB6F-4B86-AD61-E139AD084386.jpeg.bec1844a5318d6029558e936cd402165.jpeg

I'm looking forward to hitting 400k only 88,000 to go:roflmao:

The Ugly Trucking only has 82,000 to hit that mark. My 97 XJ only needed 87,000 to hit that mark. Sadly, the XJ got scrapped (it was really rusty) and I will probably sell the Ugly Truckling before it hits 400k. I would love to hit 400k on the blue truck though!

I need to get it running first, but maybe I'll be able to make a trip out your way next year. Or maybe 2022.

Hows the 42re holding up in her?

My zj is at 202k and still holding up.

Though i think i need to tighten the 1/2 band.

Pretty good,  knock on wood:D

it shifts better than the 02 wj 42re I had.
I also added a much bigger external trans cooler and bypassed the trans cooler in the radiator and filled with only mopar fluid. Hopefully it holds up for a while. I take it really easy on her and 1-2 can be a little slow shifting sometimes but I’m not in a hurry when I drive it.

Thats always good! Old outperforming the new haha

Ive done nothing to modify my trans cooling system. Mine also has an external trans cooler. Ive really only done a fluid and filter change since i owned mine.

I go easy on mine too. But with 3.73 gears it takes a little longer to go into 2nd lol

You should look into the borg worner oversized governor upgrade kit for these trans, it really helps

Sometimes it’s the little things that change the experience, got creative and swapped leds into the gauge cluster and replaced the burned out bulbs on the gauge pods with leds .

also decided to paint the needles on the gauges while I was at it since they were faded really badly.
