Pete M
so I'm organizing my pile o' stuff and when I got to the clocks, I noticed 2 different styles of clock plug. is it as simple as renix vs HO?
87MJTIM
I have one from an 86 that came with the blue plug.
eaglescout526
I think 84-86 used the blue plugs, 87-90 used the black and I'm not sure about the 91-92 connector. http://gojeep.willyshotrod.com/HowtoDashClock.htm This is a neat site for our dash clocks. This sounds correct as I recall. The 91-92 was also different from the previous 2. I had this same discussion with Don when I was searching for a clock for mine. But thats been a while ago. Awesome! I've been looking for that site recently but the original has been shut down. Glad to know it's been saved elsewhere.Founding Member of the Comanche Preservation Society
schardein
It's not unusual to see a dash clock listed on eBay as fitting "Cherokees 85-96, Comanches 86-92".
tugboat95
Where was this site when I replaced my clock. I really like the temperature gauge idea. I took three clocks I had obtained from this forum and made one work. This site would have made it a lot easier than the way I figured it out. A whole lot trial and error with a multi meter.89 ComancheEliminator2wd4.0L5 speed PukeGoatFactory Original
