Trying to gauge what and how I need to order these when they're ready. Hoping the prototype set is done in the next week or 2 **fingers crossed**

I'll most likely sell these only as kits.

With the exception of possibly the steering box braces and the front crossmember piece

I think I'm gonna go try for $650 for 10ga swb and lwb  and $750 for 3/16 swb and lwb SHIPPED!

Let me know what you guys think and vote!

(Theres a poll to vote. I can't get it to show up on Tapatalk to go to the full site to view and vote)

that's an interesting thought. :dunno: Though I'd imagine it's because in order to gain a significant amount of strength, they need to be thoroughly integrated into the frame and that comes from loooooooots of contact.   bolts would not be anywhere near as strong.  :(

So these are going to be clamp lightly and massage to fit with a 5 lb dead blow whammer? Then weld up?  Sounds like fun.
Hoping it's just clamp and weld. Lol. Trying to make it so you don't have to beat and form them yourself to fit.

They will definitely need clamped a little because I'm having the legs broke at 91° so they're not overbroke like all the bends on the competition's pieces...

Nobody else is voting?

I'm wanting to order at least 10 sets of these this first round.

Thata 10 sets total, or 12 if it comes out to a close tie on all 4 options.

But I'm asking exclusively on here first before I post to Facebook this weekend because I want you guys to get first dibs at buying the first round...

Lwb 10ga weighs 82 lbs.

I can't buy either, but I'd vote for 10ga. 3/16" will take some very skilled welding given the bigger difference in metal thickness from stiffener to frame metal. I've researched the topic a lot and it seems like thinner is better. The added weight and welding challenge doesn't out weigh a minimal gain in strength. Grant it, it depends on what the end user's goals are where 3/16" might be needed for a more extreme build. MY opinion is that 10 or even 12ga is sufficient to reduce flex and tied armor into.

I've got the same opinion. I don't see my self ever installing any since I don't have a wheeling mj, but I see it the same way.

I have some bonus money burning a hole in my pocket.  I voted for 3/16" SWB.  I'd probably be just as happy with 10ga.  If that makes a difference on what you want to order for the first round.  As long as it fits my SWB, I'll buy it. :)
