Part identification help!

What in the world is the joint that connects the pitman arm to the center link with the turn buckle on it?  Is it just a tie rod end that’s interchangeable with the others?  I’m scared to buy haha.

I would tell you Mopar but they are now a vintage part but they can still be ordered form the dealer.

 

ZJ steering linkage is a good upgrade for the steering or you can go Moog which is pretty good. Some say crown are bad parts but I haven't had a part from them yet.

I went with the ZJ steering linkage in Moog from Rock Auto and an very happy with it. It's a cheap upgrade and the originals don't like to come apart.

Separate question, if the pitman arm is worn, will that ruin a new tie rod end?

If the hole is wallowed out, yes, of course.

I haven’t checked as I’m at work, the tie rod was just very obvious.  Just trying to see this from all angles.

Pitman arms are not generally wear items. If it has been modified then possibly
