eaglescout526 Posted December 2, 2019 Posted December 2, 2019 Does anyone have a straight drivers side bumper bracket? I thought someone had those on repop status but I looked and came up with nothing. Unless I’m just missing them.

I have a factory bumper that's not in great shape and it will be replaced with something else like a JCR that has its own brackets. But I can't get to it to take it apart until this coming weekend. The bracket looks like it's still straight. The bumper took a hit on the passenger side though.

I bought the pair of MJs for chump change, knowing that they both had rear end damage. I was already planning on doing the aftermarket bumper anyway. May as well get the good parts to someone who can use them.

Better in someone’s hands than in the junk yard.

Surprisingly when I was looking at the catalogue today, There is one dealer who has the tube bumper bracket for the right side but not the left. I might call them and ask.

kansashogan Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 I had a set for an '86 model for sale and someone told me they were for only that year. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
fiatslug87 Posted December 3, 2019 Posted December 3, 2019 '86 are different but from what I remember they will fit any long bed. They changed in '87 when the SWB came out so the same mounts can be used for both.
