Both. Engine out makes fixing the crossmember easier and I'm going to a 6.0 now.

Hopefully keeping an AL block???

All for more displacement, the 6.2 in mine is worlds better than the 5.3 that was there before.

I got a really good deal on an iron block so unfortunately no aluminum. I'd love a 6.2 but it's gen 4 and my ecu is for a gen 3 and I don't really want to shell out another 1500+ for it. All the supercharger stuff is so pricey.

Yeah, I understand that. You are doing the opposite of what I did lol...I went from a superchard iron 5.3 to an aluminum 6.2

Nope. Dual clutch from monster clutch out of Texas. 700hp rated.

Nice! I run just a stock Silverado clutch in mine with around 550 crank HP and it does well

More progress. Alternator wouldn't fit with the factory steering box so went with a borgeson unit from a full size chevy car. It's super tight but it'll work, and it's a quick ratio box so it should be nicer.

Swapped out the camaro supercharger lid for a cadillac one. Hood is so close to making it shut with no cutting. Gonna try some hood spacers and hope it works.

Got the front end finished from accident repair. I was worried about the integrity of the front crossmember with it being all bent so I skinned it with some 3/16 plate. Should be way stronger now.

Also upgraded to a really nice relay and fuse box so once again redoing all the wiring in the engine bay.
