89 MJ
Let the engine swap commence! My brother and I brought this to an auction today to buy his J10 when either a radiator hose or the water pump decided to let go. The rod knock also got worse. Stay tuned! 89 MJ
Update, it was the water pump that let go. I swapped and and will start tearing the XJ apart tomorrow after work.

But I’m about a week it’s going to have an engine upgrade. Time me to look on the bright side, my Stroker will have a new water pump already! I decided against it for now because I don’t have the time to go that far into tearing it back apart.

I shot the engine myself. Don’t worry-that Fram is going away.
eaglescout526
Damn. So close. I had a feeling it was gonna be the metallic color.(don't mean it in a bad way). Ive seen a few others who have this blue on their block: I can't seem to find that blue anywhere. But nonetheless it still looks good! I am just anal about the details and originality on my truck. 89 MJ
I dropped the bellhousing for the AX-15 off at a local shop to be repaired. We don’t have the tools to weld cast aluminum at home.
Pete M
what am I looking at? did it re-crack along a welded joint?

I’d assume it was a manufacturing defect or the donor was in a crash. If it’s a manufacturing defect, I’d recommend checking your external slabs bellhousing to make sure it isn’t cracked.
