Rusty's metal taillight housing

Recommended Posts

I'm curious, what did you use to form your radius?
4" cutoff wheel and being gentle. Making cuts every 1/16" or so and twisting the grinder to remove the metal strips. Then clean up rough edges with a rounded file.... Took forever

Now that I have access to a cnc plasma table it's like 2 hours of work versus 2 mins

I'm dumb.

I had the bench seat out while doing the floor pans and used the top of the back rest.

I would like to one day make a bolt in application for my Comanche Club friends, so I would set up a jig to form the next batch

Do you have anymore pics since you posted this back in 2018? Would love to see a finish result and design plans maybe.
