Jeep Driver
Just posting some pics tonight. I replaced my rear soft line with braided ss today, couple of inches longer too. In the last couple of weekends, I pulled the front axle AGAIN, cleaned up, painted (again). This time I raised the front 1.25" and pushed it forward 7/8". New shocks, new yoke, and new JKS track bar. I also filled in the passenger side UCA mount.
Jeep Driver
Sounds pretty good! :) I find it to be hilarious myself. When I go SBC I'm keeping the cans and tips :) :)
jeeppapa
I like it, looks like something very ferrous under the hood. Got any hood scoops laying around? Just a thought. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Jeep Driver
Got the Synergy links installed, the only thing I thought was lacking was painted rod ends, otherwise, very high quality. Also, the new Teraflex dampener.
Jeep Driver
I'm not a body man, but the doors and tailgate turned out excellent. The SE doors came with a few dents, beggars can't be choosers. [/url]
Jeep Driver
Early knuckles have been blasted and painted. Now, waiting on Wilwoods.

Swampy
How were you able to remove the doors? It would make working on the floor pans so much eaiser lol
Jeep Driver
Bodywork is the most difficult thing I've done car related. Most of my highs-n-lows are inherent in the stamping, although it did have a couple of dings to get out.
Jeep Driver
Ratcheting 1/4 wrench takes all the work out of getting the doors off. Doors are in perfect shape, no dents or rust, if anyone wants to buy them.

A-man930
I spy CV shafts... what's the front axle from?
Jeep Driver
I spy CV shafts... what's the front axle from? The axle came from a '94 XJ and the shafts are from a (IIRC) '98 ZJ. I won't be climbing over boulders..........guys complain CVs are weak but these have held up well and it steers real smooth.
Jeep Driver
I decided to repair my worn hinges this way. I could not get the pins to move so I cut them out and used brass washers to make up the difference. They are so nice and tight now, I can't wait to have doors that actually swing like they are supposed to. :)
Jeep Driver
It's a good thing my grinding skills are better than my welding skills...........LOL At least the hinge won't come off.
Jeep Driver
I bought the HF stud welder today, the thing actually works. Learning curve.......I had to fill in a couple of pin holes with the mig. I put a straight edge to it and it's actually pretty good, good enough for Bondo. A-man930
Jeez dude you'll have me considering doing my own body repairs before this thread is done. Good work!
