Wood90 Posted January 7, 2017 Share Posted January 7, 2017 Came across a great deal on some rubicon hard rock wheels and was wondering if anyone has pictures of a 245/70 r17 tire on their truck. I'm running 30x9.50's right now with no rub at stock height, but would also like to level out the front of the truck if I go with the 245's, any suggestions? Thanks! On 17" rims those are 30-1/2" tires, which makes the diameter about the same as most 31s. The width will be a bit narrower, though.They should work okay if you like the wheels. Pete M Posted January 7, 2017 Share Posted January 7, 2017 those are newer Jeep rims with the 5on5 bolt pattern, yes? spacers will push it out and less backspacing could put it right up to the fenders when turning. going to be close but it might work. 1.75 or 2" coil spacers are easy to come by for leveling the front. you'll want to check the alignment after any lifting. They reduce the wheels backspacing to 5.25" or pretty much stock backspacing. I ran a set for a while before I switched to Charger wheels.
