My Beloved Comanche

So I bought this 1991 Jeep Comanche Pioneer for $2500 this past April. Didn't realize how big of a steal that was especially for how good of shape it is in!!!(and only 160,000 miles at the time) For the past two months we decided to put a 4.5 inch lift and a swap from 2wd to 4wd. It drives like a completely different truck!! Still have some smaller projects with it. Getting offers of $7500 occasionally but it looks too good to sell and know I will regret it if I do.

 

Put in front and rear axles from a 1993 Jeep Cherokee, AX15 transmission, stock 93 Cherokee transfer case, Level 8 "17 Wheels and new tires

Looks good, I got mine for a huge steal also, LS swapped, t56and a nice lift, all for 5k. I get asked to buy it weekly, and have had some seriously high offers.

Curious.  What shocks did you go with? Satisfied with the ride?

 

Not happy with my RC shocks. Finishing up my 4WD axle build out and am considering going with something different regarding shocks.

Just thought I would keep y’all updated on my Comanche, decided to clean up the rust spots on around door jams and fenders and it is currently in the shop getting a new paint job

I think it’s called Green with Envy 

I think the code is AY112-GC/STD, it is the same color used for the new wranglers
