Siopposition Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 So I am looking into going and getting this Comanche, waiting for answers from the owners, but if any of you can tell. Any idea what year this is? Looks clean, has a good bumper on it, hopefully good tires and such Going to try and get some parts and then some.money back off this one....orrrr maybe it'll become the main build. Dunno yet. But yea if any of you have an idea what year this is would be awesome.
Siopposition Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 Simply because the gauge cluster is different than my 90 I'm guessing it's either an 87-89
Crash Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 It could still be a 90. I'm guessing it doesn't have a tach so 3/4 cluster?
Siopposition Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 I'm not sure. This was the picture I was sent. Waiting on more from the owner and such, he's being slow.....its 3 hrs from me so I'm hoping he gets back to me soon. My friday was today and I have two days off....would love to go get it...and what's hes asking for it with that bumper...........yeaaaa
Megadan Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 Aside from the bench seat, that is my exact interior (i have a 1988). Your guesses on the age range seem right to me.
ComancheKid45 Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 That's an Olympic Edition, so it's an 88. Yep, I'll agree with this.
Siopposition Posted June 12, 2015 Author Posted June 12, 2015 Anything special about the Olympic edition? Other than paint and interior. Any specific specs and running gear? Could you get the 2.5 or was it just a 4.0?

64 Cheyenne Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 So....how much with the bumper?And I don't care about starting a sentence with SO....or ending with lol
Pete M Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Anything special about the Olympic edition? Other than paint and interior. Any specific specs and running gear? It's a trim / decal package, nothing else. yup, a sticker or maybe an emblem to commemorate the 1988 Olympics. that's all. there wasn't even consistency for what you got. my 88's stickers were different than yours.
Siopposition Posted June 14, 2015 Author Posted June 14, 2015 $1000 bucks out the door. Couldn't believe my ears. Looking at going and picking it up in a week and a half.
HOrnbrod Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 You must not want it that badly then. What's the location of this MJ? In the rust belt? And no, I don't want it. But the price is very reasonable and worth a quick look-see.
Jeep Driver Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 The bumper is worth the $1000. Week and a half........it won't be there.
Siopposition Posted June 14, 2015 Author Posted June 14, 2015 Yea I know it is haha. And no not in the rust belt. Bakersfield, CA. And unfortunately I live in death valley California and I am not able to break away from work sooner. Other ways I would have been there yesterday....trying to find a friend to gonat least give them money to hold it...
