Regretfully I am selling my Comanche. I love the truck, but as my family is getting bigger, I find myself in need of more seats!  It is a 1989 Pioneer that has the 1998 late model XJ swap done. Has power windows and mirrors. Also has factory Infinity sound system.

The truck came from central Kentucky about a year and a half ago. The PO  wrecked it and the insurance totaled it. The only damage is on the passenger rear quarter panel (the side I don't have a picture of), the damage is far from a total loss! After the wreck, he did the late model swap, and then traded me for my old XJ. I love the truck, I drive it 30 miles a day 5 days a week and have for a year and a half. Never had a problem.

It has decent Michelin tires on nice aluminum wheels.  The gauge cluster reads 20x,000 miles, I do not know if this was the miles of the parts XJ or not. PO said engine was rebuilt before swapped over. (mileage exempt title) Take that how you want, he seamed like a straight shooter, but you all know how that goes. It does run and drive excellent. Straight and smooth at 70mph. I replaced the muffler a few months ago, but other than that it hasn't needed much. It has Hella e-code lights with upgraded harness. Has been converted to rear disc brakes with the c8.25. The rear window was broke when i bought it. I had a local glass shop replace it, they did a horrible job. I have a 4 pane slider and gasket that will be included. The windshield has a spider web on drivers side. I was going to replace and upgrade the gasket at the same time but haven't gotten around to it.

please call with any questions - 765-401-4887, i do not get on here very often so the phone is the best way to get a hold of me.

I do not know what to list this at. I have seen some pretty ridiculously high prices put on Comanches, and I don't want to be that guy. So based on what i have seen sell on craigslist, and the condition of mine compared to those, I'm listing at $3,800. Do not hesitate to make offer. I have a parts truck as well and maybe work out a packaged deal(spare parts). Also have a JCR DIY rear bumper that I will need to get rid of as well.

Am I asking too much for it? I put it on craigslist and everybody wants to just call to bash my price...Its hard to find an MJ in this condition in this part of the world. I really hate to see it set here, so someone make me a reasonable offer and hopefully we can get this thing moved!

thanks!

I think your price is pretty fair for what you get. All the hard work is done!

I have been watching this thread since you posted the truck for sale. I really would like to buy it for a daily driver and as a hardware store truck my wife could drive, but the distance makes that a challenge.

When it comes to selling a 1997+ swapped MJ you should just expect it to be hard to sell at any price.

Post a Low Price: "There must be tons of problems with the swap."

Post a High Price: "I have no concept of how much time, effort, and blood went into your conversation, but it's not worth a cent over one dollar!"
