  1. yes the charcoal grey used to belong to chris..thanks for the compliments the props to chris for building a one of very very very few manches with this front end..it gets quite allot of stares and double takes when i drive it around..oh and allot of these :thumbsup:

  4. thanks for the compliment the first two manches the blue and my sons white one where sold a few years back my son bought the sahara tj you can see in the garage and i had been out of the mj game for a while as i had other priorities but if feels good to be back into mj as i really missed the others ive had..the good thing is that they stayed in the comanche club family.. :thumbsup: pete and goblazer i thought the pics would open right up I'm not to good with pc's I'm an old fart and don't know much of pc's I'm still learning if you can change the links to auto open please help or tell me how so i can do it..it opens right up if I'm loged in..sorry guys thought it would be the same for everyone... :cheers: i won't post more pics until someone can help i am downloading from photobucket where it says image am i doing it wrong?
  5. well after being away from the mj's for a while I'm back in the game have been building a 90 short bed that i bought 4 cyl. and 2wd and had a full conversion done from a donor 96 xj with a high output 4.0L and auto tranny swapped out all drive train , motor, tranny and gauges.. works like a dream...ill post pics as soon as i can upload them..also just bought an 89 that thinks its a 2012 lol..this one also has a 4.0L and is also a 4x4 short bed both are rust free..lets see how long before the wifey says one will have to go...lol..good to be back in the mj family again..see if pics work.. will be posting more pics soon
  6. here you go kyle these are a couple of pics i had of when it was 2wd and then converted without the 2dllr contact paper so it should look like this ..man i miss my manches.... :cry: before after [/img] crankshiftkid bought my other one and he has already done a great job repainting it and changeing the front clip ...glad my manches are getting taken care off thanks guy's...
  7. crankshaftkid that sure looks killer you have done an awsome job with our old truck it looks amazing all i can say is wow and keep up the great work i sold my other one if you remember i had the blue with the woody paper on it sold it to a friend of mine here in mcallen things got rough and had to sell the toy's one of these day's when i get back on my feet i will look for another manche or who knows maybe ill buy one of my old ones back...lol...you are doing a great job keep it up love that 97 look and color sure is nice.. again congrats its nice to see my sons old truck getting a face lift...lol..take care and keep up the great work...

  11. how hard is it to swap the gauges of an xj to an mj the one with rpm. has anyone done that and what years fit..thanks in advance for any info...

  14. thanks for the warm welcome i feel at home already :chillin: guy's well ill start with mine, 88 mj with 4.0,3.5in of lift and 31.5x15 tires with sahara canyon wheels, bucket seats automatic a/c the whole works you know for grampa lol. my sons mj is an 89 4.0 with 6in of lift and 35" mtx mickeys also auto. we are all a jeep family don't own anything but jeeps wife drives 01 wj 4x4. with a 4.7 v8 and is lifted 2" with 32" bfg's future mods for white mj are 8.8 rear with arb and stouting out the 30 for now and regearing for the 35's as for mine well it will stay as is for now until i can finish with my sons mj. i will see if i can get more pics for you ..i am kind of slow on the pc as i am not very computer savy..lol..we are from south texas so if any of you are ever down here you all have a home in texas..again thanks for the warm welcome ...jeep on... :cheers: this pic is of me on my sons mj when he lets me drive it..(which is not to often)
