dasbulliwagen Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 This little GEM was found in our outdoor compressor room for some reason today. Not sure why it was there or how it got there, but its mine now. If any of our RENIX guys think you need this, just let me know and we can work something out.
dasbulliwagen Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 I have no idea. I know that it needs to go to someone who will appreciate it and MAYBE get some use out of it.
Pete M Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 maybe we could all work out a share program where we mail it back and forth across the country to whomever needs it
dasbulliwagen Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 It says its an adapter for something else, but I have no idea what. Its not for anything we currently have at the dealership. It was being thrown out today and another guy i work with saw it and knew I liked the AMC stuff and brought it over to me.
Strokermjcomanche Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I have the DRB hookup but not the display , kinda looks like it connects to the black plug . I've never seen the whole setup before..needless to say I'd be interested .
Comanche County Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 That would come in really handy at the JY testing ECUs. I passed on one out of a 87' XJ waggy in a yard today, ran out of time really.

cruiser54 Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 It's an adapter for the old MS 1700 which was a gigantic POS. It's a piece of nostalgia and has nothing to do with the DRB. Pete, we could "share" a known good ECU for testing purposes.
dasbulliwagen Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 As cruiser said this thing is not something that works all by itself. I'm not sure who would still interested in it knowing that. PM me if you are truly interested in having it. I assure you the cost will be reasonable.
cruiser54 Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I'll trade you a known good Renix ECU for it.
Automan2164 Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 I say send it to Cruiser... He's the RENIX expert. I don't know of anyone else who would use it more. Rob
