Comanche County Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Is anyone else sick? I was down hard around Christmas, I feel fine now but still coughing my brains out. First time in many years I haven't had a flu shot, sure enough I got it. A woman that works at the local walmart recently died from flu complications. I've seen several news reports stating it's been an epidemic flu year.

benjy_26 Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Nothing yet. Try a spoon of raw honet mixed with a spoonfull of ground cinnamon mixed up in hot water for the cough. It'll help clear that out!

Minuit Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 Got my shot a couple months ago (first time I have), and I'm feeling alright. :crossfingers: The news says the flu shot really isn't helping this year. Figures.
Pete M Posted January 5, 2015 Posted January 5, 2015 it's possible that the shot does work and has prevented its recipients from getting those strains, which in turn allowed the non-protected strain to flourish. :dunno:

Blue XJ Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 My wife works in a hospital, they've seen a ton of flu patients this year. They have all been strain A so far as well, no strain B yet.
