johnj92131
Jim, My dad had a small stroke and recovered 100%. Did kind of scare him, big time. It is a Very good thing that you are writing on the board so quickly. Pay very close attention to the Doctors! Follow their instructions 100%. My late wife had a really bad stroke, but with intensive therapy, made a significant recovery. So...Pay Attention to the Doctors!!

Minuit
My mother had a minor stroke last year, so I know what it's like from an outside perspective. I echo johnj's comments, it's fantastic that you seem to be back to normal so quickly. Welcome back, Jim!

For a very long time. Rock on brother.
Keyav8r
Gotta say Amen to that, Don! I was once normal myself, but fortunately I got over it. Hey, Jim - how about checking in with an update? You've got the rest of us old farts wondering.

jimoshel
First off, I want to thank everyone for their concern and words of encouragement. I can handle physical abuse OK but mind tricks is another matter. I would estimate that I have probably lost about 50% of my mental capacity. Really weird. One minute I can translate Einstein's Theory of Relativity from German to Polish and two seconds later I can't remember how to spell my name, Weird. Also my sexual ability isn't as during. Before the stroke I could sexually satisfy five ladies in less than a hour. Now after the third one I'm through. Done. Can anyone guess which part of the previous paragraph is BS? Got a Dr's appointment 10;30 tomorrow morn. Hopefully will get something accomplished.
Keyav8r
I'd say everything between " .... words of encouragement." and "Can anyone guess ...." pretty well fell into the bovine excrement category. Glad to see you still got most of your marbles, Jim. Don - Forsooth, sir. Pray thee forgive thy humble servant for his unjust usage of the King's English. Gadzooks, I shall not err again! HOrnbrod
Yep, it's definitely a positive sign to see Sir James still has his bovine excrement flowing well. You too Fred.
