onlyinajeep726
Does anyone have any experience with this kit? http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=1145043&cc=1179839 RockAuto has it for ~$24. I was going to buy everything separate but at $24 for the tri-pack, you can't beat it. Was just wondering if this would be worth the investment. Brass terminals and new wires are much needed on my XJ.
onlyinajeep726
I'm coupling this with some Champion copper spark plugs. I'm hoping it will make it run better.

hassyfoto
I buy RockAuto often and have really good luck with the parts. I do order the name brand parts (Moog, etc.) in most cases and this has made a difference. So, my experience has been order the name brand parts that have worked from you in the past and this usually results in a good experience
onlyinajeep726
Well, I ordered it. Going to give it a try.
schardein
I have experience with United 27625, which I believe is the same thing but for 1991 and up. Very high quality parts- brass terminals, rotor with narrow (more precise) tip, and correct OEM style spark plug wires. Came with cheap plastic wire separators (not really needed on Jeep 4.0) and silicone grease, excellent for preventing the plug wires from sticking to the cap and/or plugs. onlyinajeep726
Awesome!! Glad to hear from someone who's tried it. I'm probably going to get another kit for my MJ soon. Thanks again!
big66440
I felt a huge difference changing my spark plugs alone, I used the factory part number by the way.
