hey guys i am looking at getting a 3 in rough country lift for my comanche and i wanted to know if i should buy extended brake lines bc i want to replace them anyway. does anyone have a preference of whom they get it from and or what size.

I just got off the phone with Summit.........if you find them cheaper......they will not only match but come below any advertised price. They beat the price on a SPAL switch I just bought.

 

 

 

I ran braided steel lines on my motorcycles back in the day.

For 3" of lift I would just do YJ lines. I ran them at 4.5" with no issue, you can straighten the hard line on the frame for a little more length too.

Some year Chevy 1500 lines work for the front as wel, and are longer than YJ ones. For the rear, a TJ one is slightly longer than a Dakota one.

 

For parking brake cables going to the wheels, passenger side YJ ones are a lot longer than XJ ones and work for it, but don't know how well they work on a Comanche.

dang it, I keep forgetting about the chevy/TJ lines. :doh:   the others are just so ingrained in my brain. :dunno:
